I hope I rolling road exactly half when I'm done with my turbo mods haha
The map has increments of a 100bhp on the Syvecs...controlled by the switch ****,for example 430/530/ etc...i usually run my car at 530bhp,the wife drives it on 430bhp though she hates it as she is always telling me that its too hard to drive,i only touch the top map to hurt lambo's feelings though.SJ.
lairy cams are a must lol, so much difference I bet
The cams make the midrange a killer mate!,have embarrassed some very expensive exotica...still working on the little things though to make it more responsive around the track, but I’m happy to say that it’s slowly getting there.SJ.
I know what you mean, I’m 12 years into mine now and sometimes wonder how I’m still
going but would miss it I didn’t have it. Just don’t get to play out in it as much as I would like but still tinkering away in my garage.
That’s a very impressive result on v-power matey, what boost is that?
1.8/1.9 bar mate,I was tempted to run over 2 bar but MJ said that if the engine was happy at that boost pressure and still making the power their was no need to run anymore.SJ.
After looking at @kazlo thread on longevity/ownership of a Subaru I had to see if I had some older pictures of when I first started modifying my car as I have now owned it for 16 years... and guess what i found a fewIt started off as a PPP Type UK in my ownership and the rest as they say is History...

When I originally purchased my Subaru it cost me £20,000 which for 9 months old from new was the bargain of the century being that the write up for it at that time just 9 months old was £28,000 and change...but what I have spent on mods dwarfs that figure, but you need to understand its over 16 years which is a hell of a lot of time passed.SJ.

and a proper Subaru enthusiast which I can’t respect enough..fair play..I love em too
In the 630bhp mode the car must go through each gear in a second, my old blob which was 480bhp flew through them when on full boost, this must fly through 3rd 4th 5th like It’s in 1st and 2nd lol...serious machine
Ohhhhh, a project thread I haven't read before. That thing looks like an absolute weapon
Bit of a jump in posts from 2016 to 2020, glad to see you've stuck with it. Have you got an engine spec list (I am guessing 2.35 or maybe 2.1 stroker) & pictures of the cage fitted?
I am gonna have to rob a bank at this rate
Is this a Tegiwa master cylinder brace you have here:

John the way that I have spec'd my car is for early spool, but with the priority being in gear drivability. My friend and me both started modifying are Subarus at the same time his STI is lighting quick at just over 520bhp,he runs a fully forged 2.0 litre with standard AVCS heads and cams, mapped with a Link G4X ecu, which is perfect on his set up...but I wanted to break the 600bhp+ barrier...So I had to go the extra miles with fully reworked heads and uprated camshafts its a expensive game to get those extra few horses with reliability but i am so glad that i did as my midrange acceleration can make a grown man cry.SJ.

Lol,My car was finished a good few years ago now,I asked for my thread to be locked as i was going through a rough patch with the car and in my life!So frankly did not even think that i would still have it...But I do,So i asked DJ Dunk one of the moderators on here if he could open my thread back up for me and he kindly did...it could be a tegiwa brace but its been so long ago now I cannot remember.SJ.

hopefully 1 day I will see it on track, with this coronavirus situation it’s anyones guess as to if and when the track days are back on.
Every thing that I post up from now on will be new though just working through some of my pictures of mods...if I cannot find one of the cage i will try and take one later on as i have a few simple mods that I was looking to do on the car today.SJ.
Well this morning was quite nice so decided to do a few mods that I have been contemplating doing but never got around to doing...First thing was to lose the Subaru badging as i personally prefer the debadged look,so i commissioned my wife the job as i did not want to look like a right mug with a hair dryer in my hand as i'm as bald as a new born baby Loool...
After...
After a quick glue and tar remover, washed down and then a quick polish...I think that it looks much cleaner nowfirst mod of the day done.SJ.

Last mod for today was one that I should of fitted around two years ago now when i purchased it from a member off of here " Bazil_SW" A Fuel Cap Holder.....
i'm not to sure if he still does them but it is a brilliant idea to fit to stop your petrol cap knocking all over the place when filling up your fuel.SJ.

looks good....I did this myself on mine and unfortunately it resulted in me getting a new boot off matty the breaker. I still have the old one which will go back on and get sprayed along with other bits n bobs at scoobyclinic sometime in the future. Your car looks very clean
Thanks JohnI try to keep it that way i guess that its a plus for me,as i have been into detailing cars for well over 20 years now and my detailing gear is quite comprehensive.SJ.
