It's nice winning things but I am fairly sure you'll never experience it.

Just had two nights in a very smart apartment right on the beach; champagne on arrival, flowers etc for no cost; all for winning a surf comp. Spent it with my lovely wife (kids stayed at home with grandparents) who is also a pretty nifty surfer, superb horse rider, ex county runner and hockey player, high level rower and in stunning shape.

That must REALLY hurt.
I have acheived plenty, but I'm not about to plaster it all over the internet. You on the other hand feel the need to preoccupy all of your posts with personal adequacy, vanity and grandiosity. Proof is you measure your achievements with material gains, superficial merits and self aggrandisement, I don't. If you believe that your shallowness in anyway "hurts" me and reinforces your self importance and ego, then so be it.

In your eyes Jon. And that is the crux of the problem; you have a serious issue with anyone that might be happier than you; and that's most people.

No one else minds; they join in, share similar stories, enthuse. You sit in your steaming cauldron of despair pretending everything is fine.

Do I have a go at Stu for having a stunning GT3? Do I whine at John for living in a nice house? No. I don't feel the need to.

It's not hard to work out.
Anyway run complete HEART RATE back to resting rate, sweat stinging my eyeballs.

Don't forget to take off that band around your chest, you know, the one that the Apple Watch doesn't need. You'll need a cable to see today's data too, no Bluetooth, is it 2005? At least you can ride your bike underwater, that certainly does make it the better choice for real athletes.

I'm a big fan of tech that WORKS.
Apples HRM is rubbish and doesn't work on dark skin.
I find BT data transfer unreliable and slow.

Do carry on though; it's hilarious.

I too love tech that works, the difference is when I say it works I say it because it's on my wrist and working not because I've read a story on the internet.

You definitely need to read up on your tech, just how much data do you think we're talking about here? It's not recording movies and as it's often accompanied by the phone streams it in real time. When I get home it uses my Wifi which would transfer a weeks worth of data in seconds.

Oh well, buy cheap, buy twice Matteboy, you must have wondered why it was half price, a bit of reading and you wouldn't be strapping obsolete technology around your wrist and chest so you can ride your bike underwater.

A bit of reading and it's very clear that depending on a few preferences, the Garmin 920xt and Suunto Ambit are the two market leading multi activity sports watches.

The Apple watch doesn't even get a look in.

And as dpb mentioned, well known sports watch tester dc rainmaker hasn't even bothered to test one.

It's for 2.0 diesel Audi s-line drivers that think they've bought something sporty.

Ha! It's been out a week you fool.

Here's another thing for you, might blow your mind, you go out for a superhero run, you come back in and want to see how much of a hero you are, you plug it in. Later that afternoon you go out for an underwater bike ride, you come home, you want to see how deep you were riding, you plug it in. If you had an Apple watch you'd only plug it in at night. Saves a lot of time that you could be out being manly.

Happier? You still don't get it! Obviously you and I have different ideas as to what constitutes happiness. Mine goes a bit further than material gains, physical prowess and a "trophy" wife. Sure Stu and John are maybe doing better than you on those terms, but they don't have your insecurities nor feel the need to constantly seek superficial gratification and then try and ram it down your throat, they're more humble and better than that. But you crack on, it keeps us all amused.

Jack the guy gets sent very early on samples of what he happens to think might be useful And the manufacturer obliges

Clearly this hasn't happened with your wristband since its not even a sports watch .....

I can see its difficult for you but that's just the way it is

Not only that, he can check his heart rate to quantify how mad he is before he retorts.

I don't understand your post but the Watch tells me to get up if I've been sat down for an hour, at first I found it annoying but now I just do it because it's good for me.

ignoring the Apple vs the world for a minute, if you need a watch to keep you active to that level, you might want to consider changing your life style ..

you know before you die and leave a load of Apple crap for your family to deal with.

I'm really happy that you manage to get up and walk around every hour, very disciplined. I find myself engrossed in work or a game for more than an hour and that's just unhealthy, I could set an alarm every hour, but that would be annoying if I'd just gotten up of my own accord. Good for you Pimmo, you're a shining example to us all.

Yes you are, it's an article about being able to add extra power via the diagnostic port under the watch strap, none are being produced yet so you won't know the price but at least you know you'll be able to run for two days underwater wearing your Watch.

Started making my bedside stand today, a bit more shaping and recessing over the next few days and I'll be happy.

I tracked calories and minutes of excercise on my watch today, 743 CALS, 84 minutes. If you take a picture of yourself with a loaf of bread on your head I'll record the data you want tomorrow, on my watch.

I should add that I have that data on my phone, but for some odd reason you won't allow me to show it to you.

You're repressed, probably a bad experience when you were a child, are you from Leeds? Does Jingle, Jangle, Jewlery, Jewlery, mean anything to you? Helps at hand, just reach out.

If anyone needs help its you, using a block of wood as a stand indeed Why don't you move the whole stump into your room and spend the next year chiselling that away into a massive ****. You can then hang the watch on the bellend, which is also what the user is.

Btw the strap looks very cheap.
