Apples Watch and stuff

A wooden night stand, how whacky. That stump is a multipurpose platform I'll have you know, I might add a side table but only a man of your calibre could make use of a **** of that girth.
The strap feels great. It's very swatch like, but better.

That watch really doesn't look too good. It's not even compact.
Mine actually looks fairly decent and made for heterosexual men.

You are the usually the first to complain about homophobic posts from other forum users in the past. Here's Matteboy doing the very thing you dispise, presumably amongsts all his other insecurities feels the need to "prove" his sexuality and manliness. Only here, the only proof everyone can see is Matteboy sucking your virtual ****. Maybe you like it and that's why you haven't jumped on his case. I'm happy for the both of you, you're made for each other, at least it's taken your mind off mine.

You do a bit of paragliding - that isn't the Red Bull Air Race is it?
Real men RUN up mountains actually.
I had a great time running around the Pyrenees last year. Sadly my Garmin 910xt had been nicked by then.

Ah didums, what's the matter? Am I not giving you enough attention? I've told you before, go and stalk someone else.

I think the point you are missing is that its not a "sports watch" in the sense you (and I to be fair) would define a sports watch.
I'd rather have the tool for the job; GPS watch for activities, G shock tide watch for surfing, Seiko automatic dive watch for looking slightly smart. I'd feel like a metrosexual goon with an Apple watch.
What's the problem?

It was never intended to be the watch of choice for any of those activities Matt.

That's the point. Apple watch buyers are more than likely to have multiple watches. That doesn't make the product in some way sub optimal - it is what it is. Your watches, all of them, will be pretty **** at 99.9 percent of what the Apple watch is good at.

So my watches don't replicate what my iPhone 6 does - that's because I don't need a watch to do 40% of what the phone in my pocket does funnily enough.
Hey, why don't I also wear smart glasses that allow me to check my emails shall I? Oh no, I won't because that's utterly pointless.
Apple has invented something that no one needs - for timekeeping, heavy duty sport, etc, get a G Shock. For a fitness tracker - get a Garmin/Suunto/Polar. For a smart looking watch get a decent automatic from a good manufacturer.
Apple is answering questions no one is answering yet using their almost magical hold over a lot of iSheep, they convince millions they must have this utterly pointless piece of fashion tat.
We use Apple products and SOME are great but this thing is good at nothing except confirming the buyer is a complete fashion victim.

You thought I'd like the Apple Watch because I'm Chinese, that has got to be the dumbest statement you've ever posted with a hint of racism with that sweeping generalisation, not all Chinese support China's human rights record or work with those "ethics" or like the Apple Watch. What next, we all look alike?

Now if you read Jack's posts PROPERLY you will see he is convinced that the Apple Watch is a proper sports device. It isn't. Yet he's argued and argued that it is (claiming it's waterproof, it isn't is just one example) but no athlete worth their salt would use one.

You don't need an M135i. Its not necessary. It does certain things very well (as does the Apple watch) and certain things not so well (yep, just like the Apple watch).
You don't really "need" your Suunto watch. Any half decent map reader could work out how far they'd gone. And come on, athletes way better than you have been managing fine without GPS tracking since time began.
I've been to see the apple watch, tried several on, had a play. Was ultimately disappointed and its not for me. But that doesn't make it "utterly pointless piece of fashion tat"
PS - your wife may be like totally awesome at, like, everything, but mine is younger and has bigger ****, so I win

37 years old,32D...
So what does the Apple watch do that's useful?
M135i; only six pot, RWD hatchback on sale.
Suunto; only 100m waterproof GPS watch with decent battery life.
At least they are some useful features...

100m or 50m - who knows, not even Suunto - Water Resistance, not Proof is at the top of exactly no one but your list of requirements. I've never claimed the Apple Watch is Waterproof, it's not, it's water resistant and that resistance in understated by Apple, I will never find myself in a situation where it matters a jot. Battery life may be excellent on the Suunto but why? You have to plug it in every time you want to see any data anyhow and without a heart rate monitor it would last longer, finding that feature not useful as a fine tuned athlete is surprising.
