Furthermore I don't ignore what ISIS is doing. Nice red herring and a flawed logic to suggest that just because one group is committing atrocities we should ignore another. ISIS are an evil organisation borne out of a state of anarchy and lawlessness. They are using terror and murder to further their cause. A bit like the Zionists to be honest.

I don't know how a question like this can be difficult for some, of course not, too many laws and political nonsense, the bottom line is what's morally right, no they shouldn't.
Unfortunately right and wrong sometimes means jack****.

I pm'd Maz on this last night. It's incredibly complex from a legalistic and theological perspective. The formal terminology is supersessionism v. dual covenant theology. It deals with the trinitarian belief that Jesus is God rather than just a moral teacher and as God what does He want for His people (the Jews and the Gentiles). I'm undecided as to which position I hold, there are compelling arguments on both sides and there are mighty works dedicated to the exploration of these arguments.

Have you posted any threads about ISIS displacing a million and killing tens thousands Maz? Israel bulldoze half a dozen homes and you are right on here.

BTW are you against the existence of Israel or do you just want them out of the occupied territories?

The 'swear' filter on this site is anything but, and is frequently detrimental to discussion.
Why has Na*is been starred out, that is frankly ridiculous, along with numerous other words that have two meanings (e.g. co*k). Sometimes this censoring actually suggests a poster has said something offensive when in fact the post was entirely innocuous in that respect.

I don't post or not post threads at your behest Joe. My position on ISIS is clear and I don't really care what you think anyway.
I'm not opposed to Israeli self determination. They need somewhere to live like all of us. I oppose land grabbing and depriving people of their homes, a subject close to your heart.

Germany wanted to expand once upon a time, world war broke out. ISIS have created a caliphate across 2 countries and are expanding further and the World is trying to stop them.

Israel wishes to expand and no Government does a thing to stop it.

I would if the owners of the estate wanted me and my family extirpated. I would if the owners of that estate had beliefs that were deeply opposed to mine. I would if my ancestors had once occupied that land and had had it forcibly taken from them. I would if the future prosperity of family depended on it.

All civilisations expand and it's up to them to make it stick. The Germans didn't make it stick. The reason the world is trying to stop IS is because they are barbaric and inhuman fascists, the Israelis aren't.

Nope, because the key players are on their side. That's the way it is. The Jews are a brilliant people.

Let's not forget either that the only reason Germany needed to expand at all was because it had financed its massive re-armament and infrastructure building programs with borrowed capital from foreign banks. Invading all of its neighbours had the very convenient side-effect of no longer having to pay back any of those loans.

And of course, the ***** were no less inhuman or barbaric than IS.

It's not "psychobabble". Earlier you asked me to answer the question from a Christian perspective and I said that it was dependent upon whether one subscribes to supersessionism or dual covenant theology and I confessed that I'd yet to resolve my position. If I reason my way to accepting the former, the Orthodox Jews are wrong, if the latter they're right. If you're asking me (this time) to answer the question from a secular perspective then the theological issues are moot.
