buyer beware............

you must have an idea what you want as to the untrained eye the spec c looks like a normal sti which is a hell of a lot cheaper.

nobody deserves to be ripped of but if you dont do your homework or trust a second hand car dealer you only have yourself to blame.

What about the Trades Description Act?
This is not a private sale.

Do you really think they would care?

'Is it a Subaru Impreza STI sir?'

Well, yes but.....

' Well what's the problem then?'

Next!

If you buy a house and it is full of damp and the roof leaks, whose fault is that? Yours for not doing your home work. No different in the 2nd hand car market.

Christ, it's £15k! Not a few quid.

Skeleton in a biscuit tin is a great way to describe a spec c. Great analogy. Spot on

They could have gave that one a wash before those photos though, eh?

I don't know where dealers get the confidence to rip other people off like this. Guess they don't believe in karma.

I've not been out in a 22B since I was 19... and I remember it being quite alright at the time. Would love to go out again in one and compare it to my current motors.

My old man used it to describe an Escort van he was driven back home in by a friend years ago, when I first took him out in the S202 I reminded him of it... and about 30 seconds later a conker came in through the roof vent and hit me in the face. Funny times
