Watched The signal a couple nights ago........awsome sci-fi with some wicked twists and fantastic effects with the $4m budget. Highly recommended.

New movie out and worth a watch - Survivor.
Terrorist movie located in London and New York. The beautiful Milla Jovovich plays lead character.

The Age of Adaline is ok too.

Watched Chappie at the weekend. Very good film. Not as good as District 9 but much better than Elysium.

Also Bullet to the Head was on at my GFs. People died and there was swearing. Poor.

Not watched anything for ages as I've 40 odd episodes of 'Game of thrones' to get through, I've put it off for years thinking it was a boring period drama.

Hooked from minute 1.

You won't regret it, fella.

I had it in my head it was a boring period drama until I saw an advert for it the other day featuring huge giants.

It's as graphic as anything regarding gore, nudity and language. It's a real eye-opener. The filming, CGI and lighting is on par with anything.

It really is that good, despite some strange casting choices!

Watched mad max and thought was OK but left a bit disappointed from it,lots of action but it wasn't quite the same excitment for me as the old mad max movies.
Chappie was a bit undecided to watch it but after the first few minutes i changed mind thought it was a good movie.

Watched a British film last night after a long time. It was called The History Boys (2006; set in the early 80's). I chose to record it because of some good reviews it had received. Satirical on Oxbridge hopefuls, the film was a bit disappointing with little entertainment value. Uneventful prosaic rhetoric was OTT and sleep inducing. I recommend it if you're in a mood to watch something like that. Otherwise, leave it.

Beyond the Reach is not bad - Michael Douglas

San Andreas is absolute dross , so is Get Hard.

Two series that may appeal is WayWard Pines and Legends and Lies

Watch Marco Polo, it's martial arts and soft **** but with very decent acting and scripts. As you said, what else can you ask for?

I watched Kingsman recently and thought it was a hoot, great fun. Obviously it's a tongue in cheek type film but really quite enjoyable.

It also has one of the best lines I've heard for a long time. Something along the lines of

"If you save the world we can do it in the ***"

Watched The Memoirs of a Geisha (2005) yesterday. Visually stunning with colourful cultural backdrop. Western insert at the end (as a part to the tale) seemed so rough in compare.

Recorded Rush (2013) as well. May watch one day.

I watched 'THE OUIJA EXPERIMENT' last night, for the first time in 23 years I had to cover my eyes due to fear.

Yeah right. Must be as scary as Babadook, then.

I will watch this and if I don't find it scary, I'll find you and scare the whatever out of you.

My daughter dear made a scary film on her iPad last night, which contains me, her and our brown cat. It's absolutely hilarious. I'm afraid I can't put it up here, but that would make anyone wee in their pants with Lots of laughter. I was directed to be acting in it like she wanted. At one point she made me run across the landing as fast as wind in nearly no light. It took three takes. She got me as a shadow of a ghost; at the sight of which she scream out loud on the film, pulling most weird faces.

The kids of today love to distort their faces in pictures and in home movies! New trend, I reckon.

The acting looks terrible.
Might give it a go still.

Blimey the episode I watched last night of Spartacus Blood and Sand was INCREDIBLY harrowing. Still great though.

The main actor died after the first series; poor bloke.
