I watched The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) with Daniel Craig in it, last night on the TV for the first time. Before anyone says, I already know that the book is better. The film did justice to itself, I thought.

Yes.
Watched another film lately called Behind the Mask (1999). A low budget 90 min. film with hardly any frill attached to it, yet a good story. Watchable and not really a disappointment; apart from one thing that they could have got much better out of Matthew Fox. So, yes, 3.5 out of 5 from me, so not a bad watch for a Sunday afternoon imo.

I watched a BBC produced film called Broken (2012) last night. Excellent film, I do reccomend it. Makes me proud of the British film industry.

Six feet under on the other hand is a very powerful boxset to watch.
The last episode in the final season is the greatest hour of tv I will ever have the privilege of watching........breathtaking!
Dexter was ok too apart from the **** last season.
Also loved broadchurch, great watch and filmed about 10miles up the road from me in westbay Bridport.

Not watched much lately as painting the hall way, but I got around to The Bell Witch Haunting and it was pretty good tbf. Scares predictably dropped off as the film got too supernatural but for a FF film the plot stayed pretty strong.

Watched a bit of an odd film recently, God Bless America.

Not really sure how I'd rate it, to be honest. It's clearly low budget, and somewhat unrealistic in certain ways, but it is quite funny and I can see the clear message it was putting across. Overall, I quite enjoyed it.

Anyone watched "The Drop" with Tom Hardy?
I thought it was a slow burner but came good in the end.
Talking about TV series, the original Wallander is excellent even when the main character actor changes.
