I almost bought this film from the same director but whilst reading the user reviews it became apparent that real animals where used in making this film so will not buy/watch.

Another great gore fest in the same vein as meatballmachine and Tokyo gore police is an Italian film(I think) called Adam Chaplin. Crazy gore.
Adam Chaplin [DVD]: Amazon.co.uk: Emanuele De Santi, Valeria Sannino, Alessandro Gramanti, Paolo Luciani: DVD & Blu-ray Adam Chaplin [DVD]: Amazon.co.uk: Emanuele De Santi, Valeria Sannino, Alessandro Gramanti, Paolo Luciani: DVD & Blu-ray

Ah, ditto, I didn't realise it was called just cannibal on some sites.

No, thanks. You are funny for watching an OTT and crappy film; just for gore.

The colour is sensational in the Film Lucy, there's barely a scene that doesn't feature a splash of vibrant colour.

It's an ok film but visually it's a work of art.

I watched The Departed (2006) last night on TV. I also saw a bit of Unstoppable (2010, I think). The Departed was very good, and Unstoppable wasn't bad either. I recorded The Artist, although I watched it in the picture hall when it came out. It's a good film. Makes you think that French can deliver better than that Lucy garbage, if in right mind.

Thank you very much, Pete.

I'm a fan of French films, and subtitles don't bother me.

Add these to the list:

The Diving Bell and The Butterfly

La Vie en Rose

IMO both excellent biographical films.

Rudeness isn't a problem, if it's relevantly and artistically put in the film.

Just watched Deliver Us From Evil. Eric Bana is lead. Fairly decent tbh. Didn't review well with critics but reviews from movie fans said good. Watched it on demand and thought it was money well spent. Good enough for me.

I watched In Fear today, which was quite tense.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2165859/

Not the greatest film I've ever watched and some might find it boring, but I didn't fall asleep through it, so it couldn't have been that bad.

I watched Shadow Dancer (2012) tonight, in which a female IRA person gets caught and then becomes an MI5 informer. I missed first 30 mins, so I think she was forced to become an informer. I didn't quite understand what was said in the film most time, but that didn't bother me. I worked it out somehow. A grim tale. I give it 3 out of 5 rating.

Swati, I think you will enjoy Betty Blue or 37 degrees at 2am to give it its correct title.

Beautifully shot, enchanting soundtrack and that typically understated French direction make it wonderfully atmospheric and it does not worry about the need to make the audience happy in the way so much Hollywood fodder does. The beauty is in the execution, not the result.
