Is this just a picture you've found on the web or do you know the install?
I ask becuse I was wondering where the compressor outlet is routed?
From the picture, it looks like it might be routed underneath the MAF?
If so, I'm assuming that's because the Holset has a different outlet configuration to a normal Subaru Turbo?

Any garret turbo is not "a normal" subaru turbo. Subaru only use IHi and mitsubishi turbos.
Te compressor on this application, as with most turbos, can be turned a full 360 degrees. I just had it pointing down so that "holset" could clearly be read 👍
Boost pipe ran under maf and through the inner wing
