So why should the aux belt snapping stop you from veiwing, they're a 2 minute job to change, and available at most motor factors.

Maybe read the rest of the thread before commenting, he was prepared to go view the car, eventually.
But as it turns out he would have had a wasted journey, or so it would seem.
Any chance of the seller actually reporting back to a thread that he started, telling us all what actually happened, as I for one don't beleive it was all about a belt.

Maybe hush your beek eh

An aux belt snapping wouldn't put me off about 20 quid in total unless the seller has been playing funny games

posting useless comments about me and the car seen as you don't know all the facts is pretty pointless really... the belt snapped, went behind the pullies..the seller informed me what had happened and the deal didn't go ahead, that was decided by the seller..thats all you need to know.

this doesn't need to turn into a slanging match, I know all the facts and others don't.simple.

Fair enough did you offer him an extra 20 quid on top

Sounds like it ticked all your boxes. If it did I would of been round with the belt replacing it myself

Steady on guys.! Too many conspiracies a/c aux belt let go on the way to work and pulled itself behind the crank pulley - I haven't had chance with Xmas looming to check and make sure it hasn't wrapped into the timing belt, so hence the hold on the sale.
