Steve
Maybe read the rest of the thread before commenting, he was prepared to go view the car, eventually.
But as it turns out he would have had a wasted journey, or so it would seem.
Any chance of the seller actually reporting back to a thread that he started, telling us all what actually happened, as I for one don't beleive it was all about a belt.
An aux belt snapping wouldn't put me off about 20 quid in total unless the seller has been playing funny games
posting useless comments about me and the car seen as you don't know all the facts is pretty pointless really... the belt snapped, went behind the pullies..the seller informed me what had happened and the deal didn't go ahead, that was decided by the seller..thats all you need to know.
this doesn't need to turn into a slanging match, I know all the facts and others don't.simple.

👍, hopefully seller can sort it out and you can get the deal done.
Steady on guys.! Too many conspiracies a/c aux belt let go on the way to work and pulled itself behind the crank pulley - I haven't had chance with Xmas looming to check and make sure it hasn't wrapped into the timing belt, so hence the hold on the sale.

people jumping to conclusions mate without knowing the whole story and reasoning behind the sale falling through
So is the car sold / pending / or still up for grabs and if the latter where are you in Cornwall?
its not sold, no deposit was made so its still available as far as I know, we came to an agreement but it fell through..what the seller (nick) chooses to do is his choice. he's in Bodmin
