Well Id be ripping the seller a new one, it is up to him to take responsibility for it. I would be contacting trading standards and your bank to try get the money back.

Pretty poor showing from the seller and I shall not be using them in future at all after this! Im sure numerous other people will not be using them either after the ****e customer service here

+1

Good Customer service goes along way but is hard to find these days.there is only 1 breaker on here who I will use and trust.

too many companies these days take your hard earned and then wash their hands of you, they should be with you every step of the way during the buying process until the goods have landed in your hands and your happy

Delivery is sellers responsibility surely. If the part isn't delivered correctly or damaged in transit surely they just claim from the relevant cover on the delivery?

The driver has been told to come around and "retrieve" the parcel but still hasn't shown up after being told 3 times.

The signature that I have been sent by the courier clearly doesn't match mine or my mums I can send you proof of previous documents that we have signed to prove this.

The fault is with the courier.

Cheers Jamie

ASB reply....

So in the mean time Im a turbo down and minus £550 in my paypal?
Do you think thats fair? Citylink wont grant me a lost in transit caus its been signed for.

I had an issue with a parcel booked through P4D and using citylink. It turned out that somehow even though the right address had been booked on P4D, citylink had the wrong house number. It took me driving all the way to the city link depo to sort it out. Are you sure the couriers had the correct address and it hasn't been delivered to the wrong address?

PayPal will find in your favour if the seller doesn't respond to them after a predetermined amount of time. Just gotta sit it out for now. How did you start the dispute with PayPal? Online?

I think the seller has 21 days to respond and prove that it was in fact posted regardless of the signature. That's how they treated me anyway, except I was the seller in my case with a dodgy buyer. I had to jump through all sorts of hoops to get my cash back. If the seller cooperates and proves he did post it by means of a collection note or some kind of receipt then the fault lies with City Link but we already know that's who's to blame. Looks like your best hope is that the seller doesn't respond to PayPal so you can get your money back. Have you been to City Link in person yet?

It may of been posted but it wasn't signed for by me or my mother and I don't have nothing! So I'll just have to wait and see what PayPal say... I'm not stopping until I get my money back why should I come away from this with fck all. My hard earned money and some scumbag just take its.. Get his money now he's stopped selling! How convenient. No but I'm going to go there tomorrow and see what they have to say, I'll take proof of my signature aswell

Yes, get yourself down there and get a copy of the signature they have. Then show them your signature to prove the one they have isn't yours. Don't let them copy your actual signature though. Citylink are at fault here remember, provided the turbo was indeed posted.

Paypal can take it out of your account, they did it to me when a ******* eBay buyer decided he didn't get the item I posted to him.

Initially though, paypal take the hit.

Edit: don't Paypal only cover up to £500?

I know I've been told 5 times he'd come around still no show, that says a lot to me he knows he's in the wrong.

Just hoping PayPal give me a refund now. £550 just seems to have gone! Will be ringing P4D again tomorrow

Paypal take money and place it on hold as soon as a case is opened and then release to whoever wins case.
So asb is already out of his money for now depending on paypal outcome

Was on the phone to P4D again today.

They told me that i shouldnt be the one chasing up my parcel! And that the sender ASB should be sorting this out.

Also because ASB sent the parcel the cheapest possible way its not insured. I can only claim £25 so its down to the seller!

Its now being passed to city link who are saying the driver was at the correct geo code. Surely that can not stand as he well might of been but WHO signed for my parcel? The driver still hasnt been around...
