I really can't understand this. Even the average bloke in the street knows by now they can't deliver this as it would be against EU rules. The only possible outcome from this is fail. What are they thinking?

Nope as most people on this site are Tories and they all said they would never win one seat. By Friday morning they will have 2 and I fancy by the general election a good few more. They will still argue they have no credibility becuase they are not the Tory party!
I am simply voting for them as a way to get rid of Cameron and Miliband, UKIP are actually far far away from my politics, but until a proper socialist party arrives on the scene or Farage turns out to be another pig at the trough I will vote tactically and anyway I do want us out of the EU!

Vote Tory like me because I want them to stay in the EU so I can get my pension out here in Croatia.

It cannot work and just results in every country in the union with a half decent economy and standard of living subsidising those with lesser economies. That's still admirable until you realise there are vast differences in those countries' way of life. The Germans who often work more than 5 days a week on average were very unhappy at bailing out Greece who they see as lazy and crooked (with some justification).
Although it's an expression I hate, the issue is that we are not all singing from the same hymn sheet and what was originally a trade agreement has become a political experiment gone wrong.
We keep being told by the Europhiles that leaving the EU would damage business with other European countries. That is nothing more than a smokescreen. Business cares little for political treaties and nonsense unions... business cares about the bottom line and as we have never had the Euro the impact will be minimal.
Finally we have never really been in the EU proper anyway. Our governments have picked and chosen what to implement to suit them. Look at alcohol and tobacco taxation for instance. Massively higher in the UK than most other European countries.... that's a common trade policy for you
Time to rid ourselves of the European baggage and get on with it on our own!

I think I pretty much agree with all of that especially the cultural differences, out here swinging the lead is a way of life, most do as little as possible in their day job and a very large proportion of people have some sort of side line to make extra cash, wages are really poor here for 80% of people, most I know earn between £3/500 pcm with the odd one or two on £6/700 pcm, so I kind of understand them having something on the side.
Problem with this though is it undermines the economy, but the government are so stupid and tax business to the hilt as well as making it so difficult to get a business up and running that it becomes a vicious circle, subsequently the economy is in the toilet and the governments response is to tax people even more and sell everything that makes any money to foreign companies, then give them subsidies.
Corruption is rife.
P.S, I won't be voting Tory or at all for that matter, I have only voted 3 times out of the 30 years I have been eligible, with no intension of ever doing so again.

I don't vote because I don't think any of the candidates or parties in our political system are worthy of my vote, I refuse to vote for someone that I do not support and further more I think that anyone that votes for someone they don't support is an idiot.

Nothing to do not being bothered to vote, I would go to the polling station if there was a 'Non of the above' option but since there isn't then there is no point going.

If any one of the parties stood there and said "we messed up, it is our fault, and we will fix it" it would be a good start. None will do that so it is simply the case of being governed by a bunch of ***** i.e. Conservatives or by an even bigger bunch of lying ***** i.e. Labour.

I don't know why I bother but I was unfortunate enough to catch a few minutes of Prime MInisters Questions yesterday & guess what? Nothing has changed.
Serious questions being answered, or rather not answered, by deflecting the issue with childish insults & mis-directiing points scoring. The other morons in the house braying & haw-hawing at the pathetic attempts at humour.
You can hear better debating skills in any pre-pubesent playground in the land.
They still don't get that the public have had enough of this public school debating club fiasco.
Embarrassing, disappointing but mostly just sad really.

Yep, no wonder they want to maintain the status quo, they get paid vast sums of money between the lot of them to just ponce about basically doing **** all, the only thing they are busy doing is lining each others pockets, business breakfast, lunch and dinners, travel expenses, living expenses, office expenses, then if they actually have to make a decision, oh lets set up a committee full of our mates, pay them a fortune to examine all the information so we can brush it under the carpet and do **** all some more until the next thing comes along to distract the public from the fact that actually we do **** all but ponce about lining each others pockets.
Snigger, snigger.
As I said before Guy Fawkes had the right idea.
oops, I think we need to go on a fact finding mission, where's nice this time of year.

Excuses for what?
I hate them all.
I'm totally on board with stopping this open immigration rubbish, benefits for immigrants, taking back powers from the EU and us being in control of our own country etc.
I'm just not sure what would happen to everything else outside of those things if UKIP were to take power one day. Some of the candidates are real oddballs too!
I think it will be another two general elections before they have a realistic chance of being a genuine contender. That's because they need to get rid of the bad eggs and because they need to change the mindset of the general public into one which believes that a vote for UKIP could actually get them in, rather than it being pointless.
I'll probably vote Tory for the 2nd time in my life come the GE. I think they are the best of a bad bunch and I am certain we'd be in far worse shape had we had a Labour government in for this term.
But that's just my opinion.
