So I/we will turn up for court knowing I/we will definitely win

That's it mate.

I'm gonna have them for blackmail and for breaking the 'reasonable time' to repair I'm entitled to a refund.

My solicitor is looking into a few more things over the shed load of emails I have as he thinks there's more we can push for.

They say 15 weeks (now 18) is reasonable to fix a synchro, diff and front brakes......

They genuinely emailed me saying that.....

There is a computer program all mechanics and garages use to price a job up, it tell the mechanics exactly how long it takes to do a job on a car. The program is called auto data (I think)

I really would stop all this internet bashing as it will only go against you in court.

Stick to the facts, don't get personal and allow things to play out.

Remember, revenge is a dish best served cold!

I wasn't getting personal, although I should seeing on though they put my kids lives at risk.

I was just giving some advice, if bazsti went to any garage and got a quote of the auto data and a got a print out, CP could not argue in court it took them as long as they did to fix the car.
It's all evidence for his case.

Did you buy the car without test driving it?

Sorry pal but you put your own kids lives at risk by not checking the car properly, so if I were you I'd stop banging on about that as it just makes you look like an even bigger idiot.

I think you have no one but yourself to blame, everything that has led you to this situation is of your own doing or more to the point NOT DOING, it's a sad fact but true, and I think it's about time someone told you like it is.

Agreed, i wish you the best of luck in court but i dont think you will get very far unless they fold / give in which it dont look like they will. Or they declare bankruptcy and you get nothing and loose more money

Complete agree. Especially as it is a performance car too.

I think everyone has been thinking it, just not saying it.

Plus the OP seems to be digging a hole with all of this on internet. It just isn't the way to do it. And most perplexing of all is that if he had bothered to do an internet search on Cheshire performance prior to parting with any money, he would have realised just what a bad rep they have.

I just can't get my head around him paying for a car before even seeing it in the flesh, let alone test driving it. What caring father/husband does that?
And working 7 days a week is not an excuse. Book a day off for f%ck sake.

problem here is:

YOU'RE PUTTING EVERYTHING ON AN OPEN FORUM AND FACEBOOK!

you have kinda gone down the path now of you having to fighting this through a court or making yourselfs look like talking clowns if you dont

even if they did offer you your money back, you have already said you want £3000 compensation on facebook!

if you have all the emails recorded etc, and are already going through a solicitor i would keep this whole internet thing quiet now, as there lawers will reading all this and using that against you.

and then they could file a lawsuit against you for damaging there business

They cannot file for libel as everything that has been said is the whole truth with email evidence.

Their own actions have damaged their business. The fact that this isn't a one off and the mountain of threads and bad reviews about them shows this.

Some of 'the laws' posts have gone a bit far but that's his choice. If he's feeling anything like me with all the stress this company has caused I don't blame him. Luckily I can keep a slightly calmer head

Who said it was a performance car????

I did do an Internet search and nothing came up at the time, I'm guessing because the mods took them all down at the time I searched. Since buying the car more threads have started and came up.

As for the criticism that I am not a good parent, I am self employed and work 7day a week to pay £39,000 a year for my 3 children to have private education, since finding the problems no one has driven the car anywhere. Can you say you do that for your kids????

This is not about me or what you think I have done wrong buying the car, the law says otherwise. the fact this company is breaking the law selling unroadworthy cars. Some of these fault would never of been seen on the forecourt and you probably would not of found them on a basic test drive either.

Well done fella. I don't take away from what you are doing but you point out that your children are very important to you, I just couldn't bring myself to buy a car without at least test driving it. That's my point.

Surely you see the irony there.

I assumed it was a performance car because you bought it from 'Cheshire Performance'.

Thanks for the advice. The £3000 is for loss of earnings due to the car being off the road my solicitor and trading standards told me to claim for this.

I get that, just you dont want to hand them every bit of information and also cut and pasting the things they send you.
