I agree. No fighting, just everyone going to view their 'quality cars' Make a film of the cars and an interview with Mike, and pop it up on youtube

I haven't read all the history of these clowns but aren't Trading Standards supposed to deal with these issues or has that been tried?

Lol, jokers.

So they probably payed 4.5k now it's up for 7k.

They make a quick buck not caring a single bit about after sales. Spread the link to this thread guys.

It started off at 10k then has been reduced to what it is now most likely due to the fact they've seen the thread on wr1oc and realised they wouldn't get 10 grand for it. How do these guys sleep at night.

Personally, I just can't believe you would pay for a car that you have never even seen, let alone drive!
That doesn't excuse then from misadvertising but come on people, at least go to look at the bloody car before you part with your money.

The trader in question reminds me of a certain performance car trader in Keighley. I never dealt with either but both have received a fair amount of poor feedback.

People are correct that a car should be sold fit for purpose.

But you're on cloud cuckoo land if you think everyone out there is an honest person selling minters, trying to make the smallest margins possible on each car they sell.

I am quite amazed that people are buying cars without doing any background on the trader and actually having a look at the car before parting with their hard earned.

There will be more threads like this, for sure.

I know, I know. I should never of bought the car without seeing it first, but I work like 7days a week and really did not have the time to drive all the way there to see it before I bought it.
When I looked at Cheshire performance's website it looked to me like they had a decent set up and a lot of nice cars, so I spoke to the sales manager Mike and he really did sound like a genuinely nice guy and being the sales manager I thought the description would be some what close to its word. I was very wrong, he promised me the car had no issues what so ever and if there was anything I could have them fixed near me. Wrong again, anyway after hearing what I thought was the truth about the car, I bought it and said I would pick it up 8days later. Mike said there would be no problem with that and they would have the car fully Valeted for me to pick up. The car was ready when I got there 8days later, but had not been valeted, it had been washed and that was it and water marks all over it. It had not been hoovered and there was sticky bits all over the inside and mold from some spilt food on the back seat. It also stunk of ****, BADLY.

So because of fact the car hadn't even been cleaned, I thought there was no way they were going to give me my money back and so I drove off thinking I could easily clean it all in the morning and hopefully they were the only things.
And being from a dealer it would have to be safe atleast. Wrong again.

After I had got on the motorway home I found all the other faults, I could not take it back as by that time they had closed.

So yeah people I am kinda feeling sorry for myself for not looking at the car first.

Just to add...
I gave Cheshire Performance a deadline of 11:59pm on the Thursday to come to an agreement with me. I sent them a letter recorded delivery (which they did sign for) and and emails notifying them of the deadline, they choose to ignore this. I spoke to Mike on the phone and he promised me he would get it sorted but still no. His excuse is the directors kid was ill and he had to take it to the doctor. Mmmm not sure I believe that Mike anymore for some strange reason.

Ciara from customer service is the one passing on dribble like this to me. Excuse after after excuse.

It's laughable really, they should save us time and just say 'court please'

Who's missus??
ciara kept telling me that they had not sold me a faulty car and so she was implying the faults happened after the time of sale. That is total bo**cks and I have the evidence sat on my drive.

She gave me her word she would reimburse me for the mot I had done when I got the car home but still two months later no sign of it. Even though CP sold me the car with 11 months MOT, because I found so many faults when I got it home I put it though another MOT which it failed on mainly on things to do with the brakes.
