I'm pretty sure there's my last PC in that .gif too, that was a beauty, IBM - can't remember - Dual Pentium 2 if I recall correctly, hideously expensive, noisey and doubled as a room fan, it was a server so my fault, lasted a long time.

That was the early nineties, people were seeing animated .gifs for the first time, I made that with a web camera that was pretty useless as no one else had Internet let alone a web cam, it wasn't called a web cam of course.

 

I'm going to carry cash, hopefully cashpoints start accepting Applepay, such security.

True but it's all horses for courses, I wouldn't by an iPad for its sound production in the same way I wouldn't buy a Corsa for its turn of speed.

 

That would make it **** at being a doorstop and if I can remember that far back that was its main use, cheap too.

That's hardly me, admittedly the move from 5s to 6+ was a bit rapid but it was a big move. I'm currently working and typing this on a 2010 Macbook whist watching Netflix on a 2006 iMac, my iPad 2 was over four years old and I'd still be happy with it.
