It's still running like a peach (Even though RE Motorsport said the engine would last 6 months, 10 years ago!)
Since York Raceway closed I've not done any more mods on it other than remove more items, carpet, roof lining etc. I've not had to replace anything for years now and it flies through each MOT. Even the Race battery is still going strong and it always goes flat.
I'm still on the original clutch and gearbox after 90,000 miles and 60-70 full blood launches.
My ODYSSEY PC680 lightweight battery has finally died after around 3 years use, installed another one and I've just killed it straight away by leaving my keys in the ignition overnight ...onto the 3rd!
Gaaah, suspension has gone yet again, 6 shockers now 2 of my BC coilovers are shot. Just sorned Billy until I decide what direction to go. I think Subarus are stupidly solid but the shockers and CV boots are made from paper.
Bit of a late update but Billy has been back at Scoobyworx to have a Competition Clutch stage 2 clutch and Competition Clutch lightweight flywheel fitted.
Bit of a crunch noticeable now though in 4th and 5th so I'm guessing the Millers Nano diff oil I was using was masking a problem. Always something with modded cars
