Has a bit more power than yours does steve but I doubt he can get all of his power down off the line anyway but shows it can be done, and done well.

Oh and just had a quick look, Steves Scooby has the same bhp per ton as a vayron all be it the veyron will have a faster gbox and traction.

And we've had plenty of vids etc. supporting what SN members have said, against Fanny's 'my biker mate'.

I've had 2 encounters with arrogant bikers.
First I had the Cat - guy thought he could slow down to 30 (in a 30 limit) and then have me when it opened to 50.
Fine, and he did.

Then he decided to overtake on double whites (because I was still behind him).
Fine - I don't break the law.

Up behind him at traffic lights a mile or so down the road.
He trundles along the uneven road - and gets left for dead.

Second time - a mob of them, dual carriageway.
Not particularly courteous, crowding around, cutting in front once they've overtaken etc. etc.
Roundabout and all the pussies slow down.
You can pass on the inside if traffic is going slower outside of you............

Put up or shut up - and imo SN members have put up and shut clowns up.

PS in my experience the vast majority of bikers are sensible, courteous road users who appreciate when you eg. hug the kerb/verge so they can pass you on a single carriageway road.

Welshman, we have had one vid as far as I can see that shows a bike being 'beaten' by a car. There are probably a few thousand vids out there showing the opposite, but as I know and understand physics I have no desperate need to prove to people too stupid to understand that or too blinkered to want to understand it by wasting my time posting videos.

It seems very difficult to get banned from where iam sitting, must of been a bit norty.

 

Most bikes, r1, blades, gixer etc weigh 180kg or so and have around the same bhp. A 200kg bike would only need 104bhp to match 520bhp per tonne.
I agree a bike struggles to get traction off the line but sorry the rider would have to be very poor if anything other than Andy F's impreza came knocking.

Tbh he(fat thomas) posts what most of us think when you read some of the threads started on here, the only people who get offended are the people who dont understand the sh1te that they are posting or how stupid the question they are asking!!

He may or may not say what other people are thinking and some of the threads/questions may even deserve a bit of stick but he is just about the only member that doesn't contribute to the site one bit, there are plenty of other people giving shìt we don't need tommy as well.

p.s don't know if it's just the end of summer thats doing it but since tommy came back and a click started up the site seems dead, all the crap threads may even be a by-product of this but he definitely drags the shìt out.
