I once went to down Wembley with family to watch Sheff Weds in the FA cup final, we went in my grandad's people carrier and most of the way down we were exited and talking loudly. It was only when we got around 30 miles from London that we realised that we'd been listening to the same tape all the way down for about 3 hours, fecking Paul Robeson. We all ended up in stitches at the shϊtness of it all.

"Don't It Make You Feel Good"

Similar singer but more bass-baritone.

For all the Floyd fans out there go and see Brit Floyd, they really are superb. Close your eyes and your listening to the real thing.

I would like to go to something like that but I doubt the Mrs would come with me lol.
Anyway do you think if I go and knock at David's house again he might have a copy of the new album going spare?

Having seen both Brit and Aussie Floyd quite a few times I would say that the Brits are better. Damian Darlington originally of Aussie Floyd now fronts Brit Floyd after a split a few years ago taking the best of the oz band with him.

"It is a tribute to him," Gilmour adds. "I mean, to me, it's very evocative and emotional in a lot of moments. And listening to all the stuff made me regret his passing all over again. This is the last chance someone will get to hear him playing along with us on that way he did."

Here's an interview with Gilmour and Mason. Skip to 1hr 44m. And the second part at 2hr 44m.
Apparently this is the end

One of the sound clips Floyd posted to youtube is getting some hateful comments, and I'm already tired of the Waters comments that ominously follow everything posted about the band...

Quick interview

If it wasn't for his surroundings he'd certainly look like a cider loving hobo.

His house isn't much to look at, set away on what looks like a converted farm into several different buildings. You can quite clearly hear what's obviously quite a rowdy pub just up the road.

3rd clip released.

So far it all feels a bit 1979. More like the Wall outtakes than Div Bell.

Ordered.

For those who like their ancient rockers, you should also check out Feast Of Consequences by Fish. A truly brilliant return to form.

I can only listen to 5 bands.

1. Pink Floyd
2. Genesis
3. Archive
4. Radiohead
5. Camel

All other bands bore me.

Bet it's a fake. It seemed a bit repetitive to me.
