Time for another watch thread
Here's a nice new page of Apps for the Watch, might help those who lack imagination http://www.apple.com/watch/app-store-apps/
You probably spend enough time in department stores to know where everything on your shopping list is, most Apple users or iWankers to you have better things to do.
Correct. It does not contain a sim. It does contain a wifi chip that means you can be out of bluetooth range of you phone, unlike android wear.

This time next year I'll be a billionaire
My android watch works without a phone. It can make calls, use the internet, gps, connect via bluetooth, wifi All without the need to be connected to a second device
Oh and it will also last a great deal longer than 3 hrs.

It's not Android Wear though is it, it's some cut down version of Android that was never meant to be on a watch, I have no doubt it's a monstrosity and am not surprised in the slightest that it's of little use to you as it's unsupported. Imagine going to an airline and asking them to integrate a version of Android that you'd knocked up or found lying around the internet. You should have bought a Pebble.
It has support, just download apps from google play store.

I was close. Not saying a whole phone on your wrist is a bad thing, there are benefits obviously, but if you're running full apps they're going to want you to type, then you'll hate it.
Jack, its absolute rubbish.does exactly the same as your telephone.its not game changing its nonsense.Sorry, but cannot buy into techno rubbbish.Complete rubbish for an extortionate £500.sorry,but you know it.Saw the Apps. All childish nonsense you can get in the App store. No idea why you obsessed with rubbish but that's ok :-) each to their own .it is definitely not got game changing.you have the same thing 12" away in your pocket :-)

After several months of use it doesn't really do it for me and I believe most other people who buy one of these watches will find the same.
I've lost count of the number of pals who have i-devices and carp on about how great they are and how they "just work" followed by FB posts saying "my <insert i-**** device> has fcuked my <insert life dependent data> - can someone help.
And still they harp on about how great apple is. The odd one does see the light - but it's really quite rare

It's quite funny really
.
This is awesome, we're back to 2007, the launch of the iPhone and a bunch of now quiet commentators saying Apple are wrong and they're right, it'll never catch on, we need a real keyboard, it's a fad, something you don't need, look at the size of it, the battery only lasts a day. Look in your pockets nay sayers, 99.9% of you will have what's essentially an iPhone in there.
I use flesky keyboard but use voice commands for dictating and sending texts you can launch apps, make calls by the voice control and search the Internet. It's not perfect, makes it passable. I use my watch for emergency use when cycling, it easier than carrying a mobile phone.

Jack you are talking out of your **** - again. Google didn't make phones until they bought Motorola. There were many manufacturers that had very similar designs before the iPhone became known. LG and Samsung are two obvious ones. Eventually apple will lose most if not all their arguments against Samsung. There was no copying of apple. Apple mimic others and patented those ideas first. Prior art is going to prove the designs weren't the first and software patents were already being employed by others before apple.
