the m20/a20 gives you an idea of area doesn't it? Can meet near slowboy racing, or you choose the location if you like and bring your friends who think its just a sh!tty standard wagon too 👍

Just a little example of a wrx with a vcf35 doing 110kph/68.75mph in 2nd gear VF35 2003 IMPREZA WRX 0-100km/h:

its got long gearing as its the old mans cruising model
whats the top speed??
whats the 0-100 speed??
and you are also comparing a wrx modified with an sti turbo
you might as well compare the modified wrx to say and sti with an sc46 turbo which would utterly destroy the wrx

But we are arguing over my sh!tty wrx wagon aren't we? Which is modified with a sti turbo, but this has been my point from the beginning, not all wrx wagons are sh!tty and can surprise alot of people! I have never said i could compete with cars like the ones I've mentioned in this post,in a standard wagon..

If the a45 launched from the line, then I don't know the outcome but i know there wouldn't be much in it!
We had about the same power but at around 5000rpm in 2nd and then in 3rd i slightly pulled away leaving a few car lengths between us

My friend has an r33gts with big money spent on the engine.it has 2 maps,a 500bhp and a 800bhp map,he can't leave me with the 500bhp map because the rear end either spins or wants to kick out and the 800bhp map is worse lol

Well suppose the gtr i briefly stayed with backed off the throttle at 50mph and that's why i had to brake. I still stayed on him from approximately 25mph-50mph.perhaps his traction wouldn't let it go anywhere but i was happy i stayed with him that long

New technology with paddle shift gears and electronic launches will win every time.
The vf 35 is crap that's why the sti owners sell them on to the wrx boys

Anyway you bore me,keep arguing with me,when you could not possibly know, having not been anywhere near my car and probably haven't been anywhere near an a45 neither,so you can think what you like,I have nothing to prove to you and I am satisfied enough just knowing it myself

Well it works well in my wrx, maybe better than in the sti. You keep forgetting my 10yr old estate car is mapped with supporting mods.

i agree i have never been in an a45 but id love to having read a lot about the performance of them.
i however have been in a gtr and my car is way more modified than your old wrx and it wouldnt have a hope in hell of getting near a gtr on launch.
i think the issue here is you have never been in a proper performance car and have just about managed to scrape enough cash together to buy an entry level impreza which you now tell anyone who will listen that its some super car slayer because you bolted on an old turbo an sti owner chucked away.

FYI the A45 runs 26PSI.
I run 26.xxxx or 1.86 BAR,stock is 1.8 BAR the remap units stop at 2.0 Bar or 29 PSI.
That's a lot in my book because im sure the FQ400 only ran 20 PSI. but still got 400

ive been near plenty of imprezas and i doubt the turbo works better in an wrx, for starters the wrx doesnt have avcs heads.

I have been driving nearly 18yrs,i know what a fast car is and what isn't!
My wagon with its extra 100bhp would leave a standard wagon.anyway you wear me out zzzzzz!

On the way back from the NBO.this year, i was a passenger in my mates 05sti which is tuned to 350bhp, the car is flawless and the man driving is not your average fast car owner (meaning he can push his car to within a fly's eyebrow of death) and we headed back up to scotch corner via some twisty scenic route, he was absolutely nailing it through some s's when what i can only describe as god with wheels came up the inside of us and blasted us into oblivion, it was like we were stood still, bearing in mind we were probs at about 110.
Anybody who has any subaru that is not 600bhp might aswell go and set it on fire than take on a gtr.
