As i said earlier, once i bought the new board and cable from yourself, i was able to then correct the old ESL board as i had the old version of software and used the cable you provide, i got the car working properly on the old software Duncan was mapping, so the fix was nothing to do with using the new board.I never used any dataloggin on the old baord, i corrected the MAF to mafless issue.

The lamdba issue was nothing to do with my hesitant boost issue, this was down to the maf/mafless configuration which was not done correctly the 1st time.

Im glad Duncan provides faultess mapping for you Andy but in my experience, i did not receive this level of expertese, hence this thread and hence my personal experience has been documented here.

re-read the thread m8 the mapper is named and even responds to the op.

 

And to be fair the the pro mapper he does have very good things said about him too,and from an ESL director so he must be doing something right.

Lol pure gold, I swapped my inlet to my new long block and was having a little clean of a few bits,I noticed some white crispy old (guessing)sealant round the bottom of the icv, round the edge of the goldy colour bit, there's a little hole that's either ment to be there or someone's drilled it ther, dono whether to reseal it or leave it open, I'm putting all back to standard for running in, it won't let me attach a pic on here

 

When I say sealant it was more.like.window putty it was rock solid
