Having time on your hands can be deadly for the wallet, there is one thing that I don't like about the car is the rubbish head unit, it may have an inbuilt 6 disc CD changer but quite frankly it's pants.
Nearly all my music is stored in digital format on my mobile so I had to get a head unit capable of streaming that plus also to be DAB capable as well.
So this afternoon while browsing eBay has cost me as I have ordered a new Pioneer AVH-X3600DAB head unit, plus an adaptor loom to allow the steering wheel controls to work plus a new radio fascia panel as the double din will not quite fit into the existing fascia.

So bowing to pressure I took the car out for a quick jet wash, as the paintwork does need a good detailing there was no point in spending hours giving it a hand wash.
Once you see the pics it should be obvious where I got the car from, at the moment it is totally standard and if I am honest a little plain looking but that is set to change in the near future.
Before anyone says it yes the rear town eye cover is missing, I have got one on order, the bodywork is in very good condition with a couple of very little scars on it to be taken care of.
Please be gentle with me.
I also picked up a couple of admirers, it's OK Rob they are still loyal to you.

Cars looking great, glad you got back ok, and hopefully will have a look at her Wednesday if you bring her along.

The wheels will make the biggest difference as you have said, and my private plate will be going on as soon as I get the V5 back from the DVLA as well.

I am not sure about bringing her along on Wednesday as taking the car is awkward but I will try.

Make the payment to my secure Nigerian bank account to make a deposit on them, around $1,000,000 should do for the moment.

Out of curiosity, and I know you'd probably put 99 in whenever possible, can you run nnormal 95octane fuel without the detrimental effects on the engine you would get with an unmapped jdm car? Just wondering :-)

Thanks Rob, as for the fuel definitely not the 2.5's have enough problems with ring land failures, putting a lower octane fuel in there will only give more det and make a potential failure happen even quicker.

Thanks Rich, I think the wheels will totally change the look of the car for the better although I need to get hold of some locking wheel nuts as well before the wheels go on.

Unfortunately it's not loaded with CDF Racing goodies under the bonnet except for a radiator cooling panel, it would have been nice but when the engine rebuild is under way there will be plenty of opportunity to remedy that
