The last major thing to sort out is an uprated conventional clutch and this should be sorted really soon with the help of Alyn @ AS Performance.
I really don't want a paddle, twin or even triple plate clutch so the options are somewhat limited but Alyn may well have come up trumps.

A friend has just started using a AP racing clutch and is running well over 600bhp out of it without any probs and to be honest it drives lovely for the price involved
Perrin spolier risers will look awesome on a WR blue hatch as you will see the gap a lot more than you can on mine ,,, if your really tall or use the boot a lot then might be worth tying somthing else as it does limit the boot hight by quite a bit (I'm not bother by it though) ,, but iv also noticed how much cleaner my rear window stays now aswell

That being the case I don't think that would be practical for me as I need the access to get golf clubs etc out of the car.
I have used an ACT clutch before now at 500bhp and found it great, not really any heavier than a standard clutch with a very similar feel.

Thanks Steve, when you say the boot height do you mean the amount of travel on the hatch is restricted / lessened?

I Just Couldn't Resist...
I've fallen in to temptation and ordered something that I've really wanted since I first saw one, they look far nicer than the factory item plus they are slightly smaller as well.
I ordered it from Sumo Power who has just become AA's on here again, they did me a good deal and it saves all the messing around with import duty and clearance fees when the delivery arrives.

Well once it's fitted to the car it will be out of sight, it does look very nice I have to say.
Thanks Steve.
You know me too well Ryan, I have to say that without a shadow of a doubt this will be my swan song for Subaru ownership as this will be my last.

Here are some pics of the used Cobra 3" exhaust system that I bought, it was a little grubby so needed a good clean.
First off I sprayed it with neat TFR to remove the worst of the road grime, I let this do it's work and then washed it off, next I used some very strong wheel cleaning acid and used a soft brush to work it in.
I then washed it off and repeated the process with the acid which removed nearly all the road tar and tarnishing from the stainless and mild steel sections.
Next I used Autoglym Metal Polish and again repeated applications and polishing it came back nearly as new, it could be got even better with a lot more elbow grease and patience both of which ran out.
On this occasion I didn't mind the work required as I picked up essentially a brand new exhaust system for around half the normal price.
