With regards to current plans I'm waiting on a custom free flow exhaust and mud flaps. Next plan is ht auto side lip and rear lip extensions then lower her

Recently fitted the side and rear extensions, to match the front. Had the front on from new. Also fitted some Rally Armor mud flaps.

It looks the part now.
Well, nearly, got some gold wheels to go on in the next few weeks.

This is hopefully how mine will look before japfest. Have the front splitter already and waiting on the mud flaps as they are currently being made. Just need to buy the side and rear lip

Hi everyone. I thought it's about time that I joined this site, but I've never really one for forums, but the community is dwindling in the UK, so I though I better do my bit!

I'm a long-term owner and fan of Subaru's. My current one is my 4th over 9 years of ownership. It's a WR blue my14, pre-ordered in Feb 2014, arrived in May 2014. I'll get some pics of it up tomorrow. It has almost 11k on the clock now. Only 2 minor issues that were fixed - the petrol filler, and the boot lid issue (was a service update and boot re-spray under warranty).

Overall it's a great car; way better than the last one, interior and handling.

Any questions you might have about the car, (or the previous ones) feel free to ask.

I have to say that I have now seen 3 of these, all blue but it took around 20 months of them being out to spot one
How rare are these? Lots of travelling and only 3?!

Compare that to the fact that the new Focus RS has been out about 1 month and i've seen 1 of those so far, seen more diesel Leggies which seem to be very popular

Depends where you are located, if you are around the cheshire/manchester area you will see quite a few. Round my area, Wilts, i've never seen another one, i like the rarity

Except at the dealership, I have only seen 5 on the road in 2 years, 3 of those were around Cheshire.

I guess that most are safely tucked away as they are probably 2nd/3rd/4th cars. Mine is. I have another car for work.

It's all happening next week for mine. Took it to work today as the sun was shining, just gone through 15k, no issues.

Going back up Mangoletsi on Wednesday hopefully, for the 340 pack. And new wheels getting fitted Friday!

Not sure where the 15k came from, just coming up to 17k now. (Spotted it, stupid tablet deciding it knows my mileage, caught it changing 17 to 15).

It is like a different car.
They fitted the exhaust first, then I went across to ACSpeedTech in Warrington for the live remap. My ears were nearly bleeding on the way home (200 motorway miles), not helped by the back seats being down to fit in the old exhaust. They reckon it will quieten down a bit as it beds in and soots up. It already sounds better, and the seats are back up.

The husband will hate it when he eventually comes out in it, but he has admitted that it sounds better than it did before, which -believe me, is quite a complement. He has no interest in cars.

They mapped the new stuff to the S# setting, it is now mental, I'm sure it is plotting to kill me - it was fitted on Friday 13th?!

I love it, well worth the money and the journey to get it. Like a new car.

Hey all

I used to own an Sti hatch a couple of years ago. Collected a brand new 2016 white Sti around 8 weeks ago. Loving every bit of the car so far and have just gone over 1000 miles.

I've just ordered a nameless performance axleback exhaust from the states. They do several different tail pipe designs but more importantly do varying size mufflers depending what sound level you want. This leaves the mid pipe in place but changes only the back boxes.

Nameless performance have just signed an agreement to supply exhausts to cosworth uk for fitment to SUBARU vehicles beginning with the brz. I wonder if we could see these exhausts being dealer fit options in the not too distant future.

Which one did you go for and how long will it take to get here? I am also thinking of getting the 4inch muffler delete one to upset the neighbours
Regards
Karl

I've gone for the 3.5" staggered double wall tail pipe to keep it reasonably standard looking and a 5" muffler. They say where stock exhaust is 0, the 5" muffler is 5 in terms of sound, so the most quiet but a good chunk different to stock. There's a YouTube video of someone comparing every option one after the other which has been very useful

The lead time is either 1 day if it's on the shelf or 3 weeks max if it needs to be built. Postage is by FedEx international priority

Ordered the nameless axle back exhaust at 8pm UK time Tuesday and it arrived on my door step at 10am thursday. Pretty good going.

Install tonight so I'll post up some result.

Have you fitted it yet if so how much louder is it. How much did you have to pay and were there any import charges. Sorry for all the questions but i want to change mine ASAP and not sure which one to go for.

Yeah all fitted. Took about an hour taking my time. My car only has 1000 miles so the hangers weren't an issue at all like some American sites suggest. Also the nuts on the flange were barely more than finger tight.

The exhaust was £550 including postage with the tips I went for and it was £114 FedEx import charge.

The left gasket sealed fine but the right one needed copper gasket sealant as I opened and closed it several times to make adjustments to where the tips sit so it was my fault. It was dripping condensation from the join so it was easy to diagnose.

In terms of looks I went for the double wall staggered tips at 3.5". They looks significantly better and fill the space.

In terms of noise, it's much louder than stock even though I went for nameless' quietest model. There's a lot more bass in the cabin at low revs and when you use more than about 30% throttle. Motorway cruising is silent near enough. Idle is lovely. Much deeper burble but not loud. Biggest issue for me is cabin noise. I've ordered some dynamat equivalent to use under the exhaust heat shields and boot floor because in my opinion far too much bass is coming into the rear of the car.

Loving my new MY16 Sti<br/>Swapped out the 2.5 for a 2.3 with Blouch 2.5XTr, Grimmspeed tmi, H&S ceramic d/p mated to Milltek black ceramic tipped exhaust. Oh... 475.6bhp @ 1.65 bar : )

15mm Perrin spacers, H.T. Autos mk2 bottom line kit, sat nav with 7" touch screen.

Wheels I was unsure if I liked .... but poked out and they're really nice. Love the ride but needs a drop - come on RCE bring on the 'blacks'.
