For a standard car i think the wheels work quite well imo, any multispoke wheels suit subarus. Having said that i do prefer the limited edition BBS alloys in silver/grey.

If I was to buy a new STi, I would only go to John at Mangoletsi.

in two minds about the new scoob the front looks good but from the side it looks like a rep mobile and the spoiler at the back doesnt seem to work. An improvement from the hatch though!

The BGW is as always marmite. In the flesh it does look right though, not so much in photos. It does actually work and provides downforce at speed

The most important thing is how does it go, have you got the 340 upgrade and whats it like?

Yes it has the 340 remap and 5yr warranty package.

It's noticeably quicker compared to my old ecutek mapped 2005 blob STi which had similar power but less torque. Noticeably better on the motorway due to the torquey nature of the 2.5. Also accelerates harder and off the line it's so much better, just generally improved and refined. It does run out of puff higher up the revrange but you dont need to rev it really.

Also even though its a bit heavier than the blob its averaging 25-27MPG with a heavy right foot around town in S#, compared to the blob which at best would get 20MPG. I'm putting this down to the better aero. Motorway MPG i suspect would be 25-29MPG with sensible driving. I havent worked out the MPG for the run i had back from the dealer but it used just over a quarter of tank for 160miles. I don't care about MPG though

Handling is epic out of the box, hardly any roll, vastly improved steering and feel. It doesnt understeer when pushed, slight tendency to oversteer in AUTO-, just how i like it.

Cheers Merv, not alot from inside the car, its very quiet compared to my old blob that had a scorpion drainpipe backbox From the outside it sounds great, again not that loud, but sounds purposeful. I might do something about that in the future to raise the volume a tad. Quite like it as is though.
