What I demand to know is what the hell has happened to England's traditional colours: white jersey, very dark navy shorts and white stockings!

They never play in them anymore.

I mean, when was the decision made to drop it... And by whom?

LOL.

Apparently, that's the historical FA term!

When you think about it though - based on their relative 'sheer'-ness, inherent elasticity and how high up the leg they go - stockings is indeed a more apt name.

Spain played well against.....I can't remember who. Oh, I remember now. It was Turkey. 3:0 but extremely boring for the second half. It was yesternight.

I caught a bit of RI vs someone today. I turned it off because I have things to do. One of the panel people in the break started to give it large as usual in his amazing accent: "....he shoudh have gone thu tho middhol, thu tho righth...." etc. etc. but it's not easy for the ones that are plying on the pitch, is it?

TH doesn't do 'cheap crude' (esp. re. ladyparts). lol

I admire the principals. It is unbecoming, after all.

She's keeping it real.

Well, some women may just love it but I can't see any point in talking crude with all n' sundry on tinterweb. I don't find it dignified, nor does it give me any thrill. I don't find it funny either.

It's used as an intended irony. It's a word twisting twist; to retort to a twisted twist.

'Inyerendo' would literally mean 'up or in your @rse' if you break it into 'in yer endo'.

When's that match, Joz? I think it's on Monday night, isn't it? I'm in London that day. I'll watch it in my hotel.

Also, when do Germany play again?

That's why I referred my retaliated contents an an intended irony and a retort.

So, yes. I don't initiate crude talking with anyone on personal level. If one initiates such with me, I may retort with irony. This doesn't make me a hypocrite. Hope you get this, too.

Well? No running commentaries here today?

I'll start! England were being dead boring with Slovs so I turned the channel over to Wales vs Russia. They're kicking Russian's @rse! Much better match!

And who says that Bale is nonsense?? Now I know that he's the one with that pony bun, and to be fair, he's a brilliant player! If I ever make Britain United team, I'll stick Bale and Ramsey in it. Rest will be you lot from Scoobynet.
