The simple point (not simple enough for you obviously) is if he is I have never done such a thing so he is wrong yet if he isn't then no matter now much of a 'keyboard warrior' he thinks I am my behaviour is in no way comparable to those issuing such threats towards Phil Neville hence his point is moot, wrong and just a little bit dumb!

Oh come on Chris, you know he wasn't accusing you of wielding death threats, nor is he saying all fans are sweetness and light. You are an intelligent bloke, please don't start doing what you hate other people for, choosing how to read something, even though you know what they really mean.

It's a sport he and many others enjoy and so much as you have your firm opinion about fans, he is naturally going to give an opposing point of view based on his experiences. You both have the right to do so, but I'm sure you are all capable of having a discussion without resorting to insults. It might be difficult, but I'm sure it's possible.

Yep and what made me laugh about the cancer comment was that at least two of the people who complained had in the past suggested things like 'they should have their hands chopped off' or worse in relation to people heaving their cars stolen or vandalised.

Ergo I guess an Impreza is worth more than someone's hard work in the form of software so fair enough
