You KNOW this is true, what are you arguing for?

NB: the one and only time a UK government stood up to Europe was when Lying Labour foresaw the end of the revenue stream from speed cameras. They basically let it be known that unless the ECHR came back with a find in their favour, they were taking their bat home.

And lo......it came to pass.......just as 100% of the law professionals said it couldn't possibly. A ruling STILL not understood by anyone except the UK government.

What a shame they can't do the same with other rules/ECHR findings.
We didn't implement the changes needed in order to improve our air quality in major cities, therefore there was nothing ACCIDENTAL about it

Our planets politicians and leaders(who in effect run the earth) are all corrupt, look at the lives they lead compared to us peasants, in Africa children are starving and dying on a daily basis, the leaders live like kings.
In India millions of children are homeless, look at the leaders living in palaces.
In England and America, we struggle to pay the bills, lots of stress related deaths and suicides over debt, look at our leaders and influential people living the life of Riley and only getting richer.
Our world leaders have us by the ***** and there is not a thing we peasants around the world can do to change it, corruption, lies, mass murder, money control, the banks, medicine, media, immigration, multiculturism, racisicm. it's down to them.
there has been an interesting academic paper released by two Princeton University professors

it has a rather anodyne title

"Testing Theories of American Politics: Elites, Interest Groups, and Average Citizens"

but essentially the main theses is that America is rapidly turning into an Oligarchy - so much for American Dream, as I have previously posted years ago "you need to be asleep to believe it"

the full paper is here

http://www.princeton.edu/~mgilens/Gi...s%203-7-14.pdf

a cut down review of it is here

I stand by what I said. Those with a brain understand it within context and with implied caveats.

The others I can't be bothered with.

No.......we were briefly caught out by the pollution that blew over from Europe.

Anything else is an oversight on our part, NOT deliberate like the others do. And we DO pay the fines.

Can YOU think of ONE more instance where the UK government has actually ignored an EC rule, law, or ECHR ruling? Where we have actually told them to get knotted?

Hope that helps

Oh, for heaven's sake.......we tried, but didn't have the money, (too busy bombing Iraq and Afghanistan thanks to YOUR lot), and were overcome by pollution from Europe.

Do I need another? - afterall you proudly claimed the UK had breach ZERO EU laws - (I typed it that way because that's the way you put it in your earlier post). This one that I'm aware of is current - there may well be many more - but that is now moot.

This wasn't some weather anomaly, it was a complete failure by the UK to put in place measure to curb air pollution. The result of this failure, is that many cities in the UK will not be in compliance until 2025. Hence the UK maybe taken to court in Strasbourg.

You managed to mention 2 example of where other EU states had breached EU, and I'll even let you keep the one that was 33 years old, meaning (by your own description) that the UK is 14 times more likely to break the law than other EU country. Now of course I do not believe that to be the case. Essentially the UK is just as likely to act in its own self interest as any other EU state.

Stop posting what some bloke down the pub told you and claiming it to be fact!

Now I'm fully prepared for the full Alcazar childish and defensive retort - so bring it on

Did you read the bit where I said go out and find your own? I REALLY can't be bothered.

If you are so naive as to believe that we don't enforce European laws, rules and regulations etc, where other countries do, or that somehow it's the same...then keep on thinking that.

Are there fairies at the bottom of your garden too?

There's another of your "No it isn't, no it doesn't, no it won't..." posts.

Go and read the page I linked.

If you can find an EC law where the UK has ignored it other than that they can't currently afford it, (and probably every member state is ignoring it), come back and argue.

Otherwise it's you being utterly childish.

Or just trolling.
