Just for the record (I feel it's only fair to explain the story in full), my turbo was fitted over Christmas and mapped today.

Andrew Carr was happy with it, he knew the backstory so I suppose he paid it some attention at least. The car mapped alright after a niggle with the fuel pump, and pulls like mad.

Not had it on the rollers yet - so no figures. It of course could blow up tomorrow, but rest assured this thread would be updated if that happens!

I must of upset him more than you then, as mine never returned.

Oh well, I suppose justice will come around one day.

Glad yours works well though, to be fair mine worked after the second rebuild until it developed a rather nasty scrapping noise on the rollers haha!

scooby87 iirc you did not buy your turbo from me , you bought the turbo from another source of which the turbo has been returned to , your dealings should be with him and him alone .....

nobody on this thread knows my personal circumstances nor anything else to do with any matter on here and all previous matters have been resolved ( apart from the above obviously )

for the record the chap who arrived at my home was supposed to be there 2 days prior , the '' various '' turbochargers where in fact all complete ...... id be a bit pissed as would others if u were handed a billet 30 belonging to someone else of which my wife does not have a clue which ones which

ive been on here and explained before and will NOT explain again for everyone to jump on the bandwagon as per usual that ALL issues anyone has had with me have been resolved , i love it how people comment on the turbos ie balancing etc when you clearly again do not know my circumstances etc ...... typical scoobynet

oh it will go bang , oh this , oh that ......

has it ? , will it ?

probably just as much chance as any other turbo on the market ......

but it hasnt ....

refund ??? for what a turbo that was sold months before to someone else ???

a turbo that will never appear that did ?

as for robert crossland , did he get his turbo ???? yes !!!

as i said , rough patch , everything has been sorted , scooby87 youyr turbo has been returned to the person who you purchased it from REPAIRED oh and also billeted iirc FREE OF CHARGE !!!

if i remember you bought the turbo as a plain front entry 16g with a black cover , granted i should have got round to doing it quicker but thats past ..... i deserve the hiding for that , not to mention the fact though that the turbo is now on its way back , with a new cover , new core , an uprated thrust bearing and has also even been billeted for no cost whatsoever ....

if u dont have a refund its certainly not because of me , you did not buy the turbo from me and at no point did i tell you when u bought it that i have warrantied it , i did however warranty it and can only appologise you have not seen a refund !...... whats done is done

it has completely naff all to do with anyone on here and tbh 30% of people who comment on here know exactly who i am and where i am yet not a word !!!

i do not use scoobynet on my phone AT ALL and tbh rarely use it amongst others because of exactly this type of stuff ...... people who have no clue and no care to what the **** is actualy going on before they open their mouths

No complaints here john, and it was a pleasure dealing with you, i got mine back 7 days after sending it, billeted, ceramic bearings installed, new turbine wheel and shaft.

2Litre car with gt3076r and spool up is awesome

Just for completeness, although scathing of Johns lack of communications and the length of time in which it took me to get my turbo back - I feel I need to be fair and follow up by saying the quality of the product appears to be excellent.

Had my car road-mapped by Andrew Carr a few weeks ago, a couple of really minor niggles came up since then such as fuel pump and a leaky vac hose - but after sorting, I revisited Andrew on a Dyno and the car/turbo performed brilliantly:

This is on a 2.0 running ID1000 injectors, and no Meth - just Tesco's finest.

Was.... I asked a couple of friends if they'd heard from you or seen you around & if they did just to ask you if could reply to your pm's as I had taken notice that a few had tried to contact yourself on several occasions.

There was nothing sinister I can assure you, What would make me any different and warrant a reply ???
