Hello again Matt lol
Not read all the comments but the first thing that I saw was £2000! I'm like wtf, how much lol. Why don't you look out for a shed with a decent engine in it? I mean for around £1000 mark I should think you could buy a whole donor car with a decent running engine and you should be able to hear/see it running. If you just buy an engine you could be buying a duff one on the word of someone you may not know And then you can sell off the rest to get some money back

If I'm going to all this trouble then I want some piece of mind that what I'm using is better than what was in there originally and by using this newage sti motor I think I've done that.
My heads are currently with Tim having a overhaul while I source all the bits needed to put it back together. I'm not cutting any corners so all seals and gaskets are being changed along the way as well as cambelt and tensioners.
And once this motor is in at least I can enjoy the car for a year or so while I save a couple of grand to have the cars original CDB forged.
