I went for 180's as its a daily and unlikely to see the track anytime soon. I live in hope that the reviews I read are correct. I will post my honest opinions when I have tested in both dry and wet conditions.
Interested to see how you find them as I'm going to be ordering a new set of boots soon and I'm still tempted by these in 180 rating as I use the car on track and road, possibly with the odd hill climb thrown in when not using my other car. These seem to be very similar to AD08's which when treated with respect don't seem to be half bad in the wet...

You will love them, they are proper tires just make sure you have the skills to match.SJ.
They really are amazing! I went out in the car with Paul Blamire and he even commented on the amount of grip the car had over a wet roundabout. When I told him they were Nankang NS2Rs he replied that he'd only heard good things about them too.
I'll find out more as soon as I get to properly open her up.
Thanks again for the recommendation! Best choice ever
I have been driving turbocharged impreza's for well over ten years now and very HARD!!! so i know a Good tire when i use one.I am glad that your enjoying them.SJ.
I Finally got my nankangs fitted to my new wheels. Great looking tyre, sit very square on the rim. Couldn't believe how bloody hard the side walls are, fitted plenty of run flat tyres, but these !! Lots of swearing later and there on. Looking forward to giving them a try
Lol they will be more expensive as we approach trackday season... demand brings the price down £295 for a set of 4 235's or £250 for a set of 225's is pocket money for tyres that rival 888's

Had these for 3 track days now . 2 were wet and recent dry Bedford GT . As some mentioned they go off earlier than R888s , but triple 8's ain't particularly great in that department either , compared to A048s or FZ-201 for instance , however the perfomance of NS2Rs is definitely matching the price . On the fast track like Bedford i'd want them to last just a tad longer before overheating at least to match the fluid temps and going for a cool down lap. Theres 1 or 2 track days still left in them makes them absolute bargain for what they cost.
I found them less grippy than R888s too , but that is not necessary a bad thing if you think about the oil and fuel surge , they loose traction earlier but in a nice smooth way , feedback of whats going on is great when rear end goes , lots of time for correction , R888s were on and off type , specially on fast bends. Short fun clip on track tussle with Exige S2 .
