Straightened up and repaired the slam panel. The fire brigade had to prise the bonnet open so it was shaped like a banana

I was going to get someone to take it out the windscreen out and re-fit it, however they said by the time its out (unlikely to be in one piece) and cleaned it would be no more expensive and a lot easier to put a new screen in.
So I bought a windscreen removal tool and broke it within a minute
cheap sh*t!! So I set to with my Stanley knife
and got it out myself
....... yes I did break it!!
Just in the middle of cleaning off the glue!

Shouldn't be anymore than £150 I would say. You can get heated screens for around the £250 mark iirc.
You just need to find a big stone on your travels

I found a stone, if did more damage to the bonnet than the windscreen

Insignificant but all the windscreen glue has been removed (my god that stuff sticks like sh*t to a preverbal blanket) I used a twist knot wheel in the end as nothing else was getting it off
etch primed it ready for primer and topcoat
