few build pictures

8th November 2013 day one as the car arrived with knocking engine never to look the same again

22nd November car is stripped and work begins work begins on shell

while build is on its way parts are being ordered daily and coming in fast from all over the place

more fabrication work for various things also taking place

while the shell was away for paint this gave us a weeks window to get the unit straight again and stripped re coat and rebuild anything that needed it all ready for the shell soon as it was back

finally we had a shell back from paint and ready to bolt some goodies on

finally a rolling shell

the biggest investments of the build makes its debut

wiring loom left overs

while we have the car being built a our place alyn at as performance is working away on the engine

soon as alyn finished working his magic on the engine we collected it and fitted it the next day as we was excited to have all the parts in the same place so the commenced

front mounted turbo set up fitted but sadly had to come off for boring heat wrap

the car is almost finished now but still needs mapping and some testing and a lot of loose ends finishing up fully at this stage but hopefully by the end of the month she be 100% complete hope you enjoyed this read thank you

James it's a drift works spoiler we have the legs custom cut we be adding large end plates on we only use the actual blade unfortunately they only sell them complete

Dunk it's a obx manifold from the states it does look the same as that one in the link but I don't think the quality on that one is anywhere near as good as the obx item which should flow very well at the top end

Dunk it turned out better than we hoped after doing sole research on the manifolds there some great results with them for a 1/4 of the money for the cosworth manifold but the car needs a lot of testing so we may change a few items yet we're not sure how well or not well it all works together but we post up some results and vids once testing is done ect for all interested

Jon I basically design the upright to suit the car and where it's going to mount and the pitch of the spoiler then get them lazer cut from 8-10mm alloy this one is chassis mounted through the rear qtr panels and is very rigid so should do the job nicely..

I do have a few extra brackets all ready cut but cannot be sure they do the job for your set up as all are different I will also be selling my own spoiler soon ready for the replacement that is the same blade and some high legs I have this mounted through the boot lid on some stands that's another way of making them solid but marks it hard for removing the boot lid if needed

I have one of those manifolds only brought it because it looked good never fitted it just got it on the shelf lol I also brought a cossie one that's what I will be using but been told its a bit to big for a gt30 would get better results from a standard ? But it won't look as good

Mine is a classic so the same set up as yours would fit as I have a adjustable mount so can change the rack to can you pm me the guy who cut yours if you done mind

I'm sure fuds head is swelling from all the positive comments lads thank you

Jon the cissies cast manifolds are fairly large bore they work much better for high power cars and higher in the rev range you loss low down drive ability and power/torq but gain it all top end hopefully with this obx we should have that problem as the capacity isn't as much but we see we will be doing a custom one at some point tho as we have some plans

As for the boot spoiler not sure if it would open on the hinges it would have to be huge to do that this lid is removable on quick release pins ect we just remove it in seconds to get to the fuel set up ect the lazer cutting is by a friend in his spare time he wouldn't do it for anyone else I'm afraid sorry

Sound like what I was told ill be running a 2.35 with a gt 30 billet hopefully around 600 horses I think the cossie mani will be to big for me as a track car be ok for the quarter mile though.
No worries about the up rights it's just I like to plan thing and this is one of the things I'm coming up with a blank hope ill sort it by the that stage.
But great car you have there hope mine comes out nearly as good
