Beautiful car, just the right amount of modifications!
Do you recommend the Pole Positions? I'm saving for one at the moment. Didnt fancy the ABE ones as I dont think they come in red...

I've upgraded the chassis in stages so have been fortunate enough to feel what each upgrade does.
The STI pillow ball lateral links (I've tried both types, the triple and full pillow ball) and the STI pillow ball trailing arms make a big difference to how the car responds & turns in. They make the rear of the car feel connected and allow the rear suspension to move more freely.
The OE rubber bushes in the lateral links and trailing arms are very soft. The Grp N bushes would be an improvement but I suffer no NVH with the STI pillow ***** so they would be my choice.

Thanks for the feedback Nic. The STI optional links were something I was planning to do somewhere down the road. Looks like you've just it a must do.
What do you mean by triple and full pillow ball? Are we not talking about the STI optional lateral links and transverse links? The ones that come standard on the Spec C Type RA 2005 and Spec C RA-R?
Stunning pictures by the way!

Hey mate, not much to report I'm afraid. The Spec C's tucked up for winter.
Trying to decide between a Renault Espace or to do an LPG conversion on the Impreza
Do you know if the AP's will fit an Espace?

It's an air/oil separator.
All engines breathe and turbocharged engines due to boost have higher crankcase pressures.
With increased boost, this crankcase pressure becomes greater as more pressure is pushed past the piston rings and into the crankcase. This pressurised air is in every oil fed surface in the engine and this air contains oil vapour.
The air oil separator allows that oil vapour to condense and return to liquid form and is then returned to the sump via a drain.
A catch can collects oil with no return. You empty it manually.
An air/oil separator like this separates the oil and returns it to the system.
Any condensation within that returned liquid will be burnt off under normal engine conditions.

I guess I will definitely be having one of these on the 2.35 build.

What are the top mounts They look like OE to give a lot more neg camber ?, my cars getting very low mileage GB270 struts, alloy front arms, 22 mm rear roll bar camber bolts and a full geo set up, would like some of these top mounts if available through the parts net work.

One of the best (or possibly the best) modified Subarus out there and used properly as it should. It's all about the handling not power mods.
If you plan to sell in the future Nic give me a shout! No rush as I need to save some more
