On average how long are your 18650 batteries lasting ? I appreciate it depends on how much someone uses their ecig, i was just wondering on average how often do you replace yours.

My Samsung 30Q ones are just about on their way out now, i can't remember how long i've had them, at a guess i'd say around a year and a half.

And wattage/type of mod/coils etc, but yep they don't last forever, so can only be recharged a certain amount of times before they become less efficient. Yep a year or 2 is about the right time before they start declining.

I don't vape so much now, about 5ml/day, also have dual sammy 30q's, they last about 2-3 days usually, sometimes more.

Just get some more its only a tenner.

I vape around 15/20ml a day, usually end up plugging in or changing batteries around 8pm in the evening... but I do wake up around 5/6am.

Use my not so good anymore sammys for my torches... they did around 18months of constant vaping until I noticed a very slight decline.

As above 16 quid for 2 XXX... 20A... 3000mAh... 40A batteries.

Been vaping for 2 yrs and now have 8 batteries, 5 mods and about 10 tanks.

Mostly only use my Alien with a big baby beast... lost it a couple of weeks back for a day or so... was lost without it... so glad it was only hiding in the car.

I have the big baby beast (5ml), baby is too small, but they use the same coils (Non EU/TPD ones) love it, best tank i've used to date, great airflow, more about the RBA/coils though, decent flavour, chuck out meaty clouds, coils last me ages, 3 weeks or more on average, i use the 0.15ohm X4 coils if i'm not using the RBA.

You can also interchange other makes of coils in the baby and big baby tanks, there are better ones out there than smok, like the joytech or eleaf coils, last longer, better quality n slightly better flavour.

There are better tanks out there as well though allegedly.

Yeah sorry mine is the big baby beast but I do have a baby beast... just don't really use it... came with my smok pipe... that I also hardly use since getting the Alien.

I only use rba as it's 60 mile round trip to nearest vape shop, so I tend to just stock up when I'm in the uk.

Alien and big baby beast is a great combo... don't know how I coped before I got it... and as above I was recently reminded about life before it when I mis-placed it for a couple of days... which speaks for it'self.

Two friends here are using the bigger batteries on their going out mods, I need an all in one that uses those. Is there anything like those squeeze the bottle devices, can’t remember the name, that uses them?

You mean 20700 batts? and you want to use them in a squonker?

I can only think of the IJOY CAPO 100W which is a single cell mod. Can take a 21700 batt too.

Link as an example;

That's the Mod he has, but not the squonker, it's a nice piece of kit but I don't like the form factor, the squonker is better but I really just want a box with a mouthpiece out the top, basically an upgraded Kanger Leakbox

Thats the only one which takes a 20700 or 21700 batt though, if you're looking for vape time.

If you don't need a squonker then there are loads of options for mods that take 20700 batts like the ijoy captain, thats been mentioned in this thread before.

Think I am going to go for the Vaporesso Revenger with the NRG 5ml tank

https://m.fasttech.com/products/7753500

At £47 delivered, it's worth a punt.

Anyone using this setup?

My mate just bought one from the local vape shop. He paid £100 for the box, batteries, atomiser and some juice. Over the odds but it's a nice set up for a walk in purchase, the central position of the atomiser makes it much more acceptable to me, might also have been the tiny tank that made it not so awkward.

My Samsung 30Q ones are just about on their way out now, i can't remember how long i've had them, at a guess i'd say around a year and a half.
If i use around 20w on 0.25ohm coils, i can eat through a 30Q easy in a couple of hours. Dual cell mods really come into their own, as there are 2 cells you actually get a little over twice the vape time(less strain over the 2 cells). The ijoy captain(2x20700 or 2x18650 with sleeve) pretty much lasts me the day. I swap out the cells around 6-7pm, top off at 2a(this is the 20700 cells) ready for the morning/day/evening use and repeat.

If your using over 30w , imo you defo need a 2 cell mod. Down side not as pocket friendly(little bulkier) but it saves faffing about carrying spare cells. Now there are quite a few dual cell mods, many are pretty compact and not much different in size to what single cell mods were a year or two back. Even then, after a few days/weeks use, they pretty much feel the norm. Does not take too long to get use to the little chunkier mod(or so i have found, everyone is different).

I use dual 30Q batteries in a Wismec RX 2/3, the RX 2/3 doesn't feel bulky at all, like Ven says you soon get used to any sized mod very quickly as that's what feels normal in your hand after just a few days. The good thing with the RX 2/3 is you have the option to use it as a 3 x 18650 setup if you want, i've never used it that way myself as the 2 battery setup is fine.

Out of 2 x 1850 Samsung 30Q batteries i normally get around 12 hours solid use, i'm using mine a lot though. I always carry a spare set that's fully charged and ready to go, my last lot of 30Q's needed replacing so i bought 4 recently, they did last me about 1 half years of heavy useage which is pretty good.

Went round to a friends house last night where we all enjoyed a very decent helping of mexican food, chocolate deserts, Christmas chocolates and quite a large amount of alcohol. Basically there were 3 couples. My wife and I and our friends.
Around 10pm I asked if it was it ok to vape in the house. Was told no, but my friend (her husband) said it was ok to vape in the garage, which we then proceeded to, drinks in hands.

Had a 5 or 10 minute vape and returned back in the house.

This morning my wife tells me that the girls (one is a nurse and the other an accountant) were telling her how bad vaping was. Young children of parents that vape suffer neurological issues blah blah blah.

Feel quite pissed off if I'm honest. The amount of unhealthy food and alcohol consumed last night, in my eyes, negates any argument they have about vaping.
I know damn well that my nurse friend read her findings on the internet and not from a medical journal.

Anyone else get this grief? I respect other people's opinions but I don't judge others on their lifestyle choices.

I tend to agree with you, however, it does make me sound like a conspiracy theorist. Just frustrates me, to be judged based on media misinformation.

Known these friends for years and would never dream to judge them.

Do any new, current mods stand out as i'm looking to get another mod and use my current one as a back up spare ?

I did like the Wismec Predator but it had issues with the 510, any 510 design that uses a press fitting is asking for problems.

Not really they are all pretty much similar to each other these days, its just down to personal preference/size/vape time/etc.

iJoy Captain seems to be a safe bet and popular.
Any of the smok ones, although QC sucks, so pot luck if you get a good one.
Voopoo drag gets quite a lot of love, although I hate the logos on it.

Get this all the time, I just laugh at the ignorant and ignore them, not worth the hassle or my time. The worst offenders recently were my parents, because of horsesh1t that they have read in the daily fail in the past

Bio, i like the look of the Ijoy Captain, wasn't keen on the look of the Voopoo drag, it's the champered edges i didn't like on the top near where the tank sits.

Talking of the Ijoy, what do you think of this, it looks like a different version of the Captain

Tell you what's impressive, I'm using an RX2/3 at the min on a 2 battery setup, I've never tried the 3 battery option until monday. Normally from a 2 x 18650 setup I get 12hrs battery life on quite heavy usage, I put the 3 battery setup in on monday at 17-30 and i currently I still have 35% battery life so thats around 40hrs so far from the 3 x 18650 setup. It's more bulky obviously but that battery life is excellent.

The thing that surprised me most is by just adding one extra battery from a 2 battery setup to a 3 battery setup it more than tripled the battery life from 12hrs on a 2 battery setup to 43hrs on a triple battery setup.
