Yea it does look like the ford sierra of vape mods, but it does have the YIHI chipset, which is one of the best for customisation amongst other things.

I think i'll give those a miss at around £9 per coil lol, what mug is going to spend £9 on a single coil.

I like that fat glass, 8ml would do me.

Both of my leak boxes are failing, I think I have one more chance by swapping the working coil holder from one to the one with the fully working micro usb socket. Charging off device is emergency only so that's out.

I fear change.

Just made some pinkman juice after being on Heisenberg for over a year. Love the stuff. Made it with a ratio of 50/50 PG/VG too so a very nice throat hit.

Recommend me a good new sub ohm tank, flavour is the most important thing along with reliable coils. I'm currently using the big baby beast which is probably the best tank i've used to date with the X4 coils

I'm about to place an order on fasttech for some new X4 coils so while i'm at it i'll treat myself to a new tank so i've got a good spare, ideally recommend some good coils for it as well. Cheers

Not new, but gets good feedback - Aspire Cleito 120

TFV12 prince gets good reviews (28mm). Coils are pricier and there isn't an X4, equivalent is the X6 (six coils)

Or just get another bbb in another colour as a backup?

I'll give that one a try, it seems to get good reviews for flavour and seems to get hardly any cons apart from not including an RBA which doesn't bother me.

Ignore that last bit, apparently they only do 0.16ohm coils for the Cleito 120 tank.

Have you heard or read which are the best coils to use for it... Cheers
If it was me I would get the BB X4 equivalent which is the 0.16ohm coils

Yep but for the price difference why bother? Plus you'll get them quicker from that UK link.

Because i'm ordering several other items at the same time so it makes it easier ordering them all from Fasttech, i'm out quite a lot during the week with work so i want them to come in one convenient delivery rather than possibly coming from 2 different delivery companies where i'd have to possibly make 2 different trips to pick them up.

Nowhere can beat the price on the X4 coils from Fasttech, they are quite a lot cheaper, also the Aspire Cleito 120 tank is a lot cheaper from Fastech as well as the coils, the tank works out at 13.90 from them, over here your talking £23 - £25, the Cleito 120 colis from Fasttech work out at 10.30 for 5, on the link you posted they are 12.99 plus postage as you have to spend £40 on that site to get free postage and they don't sell the Aspire 120 tank yet they sell the coils.

This is odd.

I normally pay for my orders on Fasttech with Paypal, if you have any Aspire item in your basket you can't use paypal, it will only let you pay with Bitcoin, it gives you 2 options at the checkout, either paypal or bitcoin but the paypal option is greyed out.

Apparently you can't use paypal to buy Aspire items because paypal class them as tobacco items and you can't pay for tobacco items with paypal, i found that answer via google. Go and try it, put a mix of a few things in your basket and add some Aspire items, don't worry you won't be able to pay. It explains it below on the link

https://www.fasttech.com/forums/orde...ion-disabled/1

Now i've got a basket full of stuff i can't pay for lol

wtf yea same for me.

But there should still be a credit card option, if you add anything else to your basket and remove the cleito, is how it should be. Might be an error on Fasttech's part.

FT will not let you pay for Aspire gear via PayPal the only work round is to buy other stuff
to the same value with PayPal
Then cancel the order and get F.T credit points / vouchers and use them to pay for the Aspire stuff
Bit of a faff i know but it does work.

Because of the problems trying to buy Aspire stuff on Fasttech i've decided to go down another route, what's your opinions on this

https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/...er-216w-vw-apv

Mike Vapes has done a full review on it, he's well respected on youtube

He basically says that it's currently the best available for what it is on the market, it's a gentle way to get into semi building my own decks and squonking from what i believe will give you better flavour over a basic sub ohm setup.

Hmm the smaller capo squonk is total crap and fallen very flat on its ****.
If you fancy having a go at squoking your hard pushed to beat a cheap old pico squeeze
as a try me out sort of thing.
Ok it's not a v.w set up but it does have inbuilt safety cut off's so its sort of a mech but with
protection.

Yea nothing wrong with the Capo 216, like Smok, iJoy sometimes have questionable quality control, but yea it should be fine. I was under the impression that you wanted convenience with a sub-ohm tank over a squonker/rda with which you obviously will need to rebuild your own decks/coils quite often. If i was into that (i'm not) i would definitely get another RDA to the one provided as its not a particularly good one. As a kit to get you going it will be fine though. RDAs will always give superior flavour over a sub-ohm tank.

Pico squeeze is ok but its only a single cell 18650 50W mod, so RDA build/coil choices are limited and less vapetime obviously than a dual cell mod. But yea they are cheap and seem to be very popular.

The only reason i suggest a squeeze is its cheap so if you find your not into
squonking you have not shelled out a great deal of cash.
As said above the coral RBA is a bit naff but pair it with say a wasp nano with a 0.5 build in it and you will have a nice small set up that will work well and pocket friendly to carry about.

What's the best wire and best gauge to use for making your own coils in an RDA , it will be used for squonking on an RDA deck.

I've seen various types of wire and various types of designs like Alien wire, chain wire, Kanthal A1 Nichrome, Kanthal, Nichrome, Ni80, Clapton etc etc

To start with i'm going to buy my own pre- made coils and buy the cotton etc, then once i'm up and running i'll buy one of those small tool kits and try and make my own coils.

Is a single coil better for squonking the a double, quite a few videos from what i've seen use the single coil setup on a squonker RDA.

Feel free to give us any advice.

Personal preference, no wire is best, i would start with the easier wires until you are familiar with building, so the kanthal and/or Clapton. Alien/chain etc require a drill to make from scratch. Yea just buy them pre-made, that's what I do. I've built kanthal coils as they are easy (all you need is like you say a coilmaster kit or a 2.5-3mm drill bit) and some ohm's law knowledge, or use this site for calculating coil wraps etc.

http://www.steam-engine.org/coil.html

Single/dual coils or more, again, personal preference and depends on what RDA you are going to get. e.g. if you get an RDA with a large building area then dual coils would be better. Move flavor/smoother vape. Single coil would be more for a mouth to lung vaper.

What ohm to start with and what gauge ? From what i can gather 26 AWG seems to be a good starting point, i've no idea on what ohm to use tho in a RDA setup.
