No idea mate, never heard of that one before, i would stick to a well known and recommended brand like Kangertech if i was you and pay a bit more than £20.

Or visit a local vapor shop if you have one and try some of their kits, get some advice from them first.

My V1 leaks randomly. Haven't quite worked out why. It's fine for a few days then leaks a bit.

Yea my V1 did too near the bottom and sometimes through the airhole, as the e-juice got low in the tank.

No, this V2 one hasn't leaked at all You sometimes get a bit of e-juice stuck between the glass and the tank, but nothing has leaked yet. They have repositioned the bottom O-ring slightly in this one.

The BVC (or V2) OCC heads are better as well, last longer, got 3 weeks out of the one that it came with. I could have pushed it another week I reckon, but I prefer to swap it out for a fresh coil. Downside they drink the e-juice a bit more than the V1 heads.

Thanks mate. Think I'll get one of these soon.

How often do you change coils then? I made a bit of a pigs ear of the the rebuildable job so just by the ready made ones. I tend to make them last a month before changing and even then I think it's more to do with trying to stop the leaking than the coil having given up the ghost.

2-3 weeks usually, whether the coil/cotton is on its last legs or not.

The kanger mini kit is only a fiver more from them though, so its a no brainer for me.

I take it that you can charge the battery in situ with the kanger mini kit?

Yup over usb to pc, or usb to wall charger as usual and it has a pass thru so you can vape while it is charging if you want. I invested in a proper 18650 charger so i can charge 2 18650 cells at the sametime as well.

seriously considering it. what's the score with the coils on these? can you buy them ready made or do you have to rebuild them yourself?

Yep same deal as the V1 coils ghead, OCC ready made, or build yourself using the included RBA deck. Or you can if you want rebuild one of the OCC ready made coils when they are done Although its a bit of a faff.

GHead, you can get packs of 5 replacement OCC BVC coils here,

http://myepack.co.uk/kanger-subtank-coil-head.html

Subtank BVC Coil Head 0.5 Ohm or
Subtank BVC Coil Head 1.5 Ohm

And a bit cheaper on Amazon.

Kanger subox mini kit Maybe begin with the 1.5ohm coils (you get one 0.5ohm coil and one 1.5ohm coil to try) in the kit as well.

If the 0.5ohm coil works for you then buy a replacement pack of 5 0.5ohm BVC coils as mentioned above

0.5ohm (Sub ohming) produces a stronger hit, flavour and more vapour than you will have experienced before. So if you are vaping a high nic content e-juice (say 18mg) you will need to look at lowering that as well ideally.

Silly question but how do you know when it is fully charged. Instructions say that the display should go out when fully charged. Problem, mine never seems to go off when on charge for 3+ hours.

Depends on the cell you are using, what have you got? The battery may take a couple of cycles before it does that, it goes out on mine if i charge it over USB though.

Charger is the important piece as you musn't put too many amps through the battery. Why are you using the USB lead for your iphone? Use the one that came with the Kanger kit lol. Although it shouldn't matter.

It is the USB lead that came with the kanger kit but with my iPhone plug on the end so I can charge it off the mains.
