Whilst I agree with you, it should work both ways.

Twice, TWICE, I've had an appointment for an ENT clinic where the hospital have changed not only the time but the date.

They failed to inform me both times, but I turn up on time, every time.

The hospital have both my phone numbers and email address, but failed.
