2005 WRX PPP Wagon and how I came to be here.

It's got the bilstein suspension from a spec b, but the engine is basically the same as a jdm impreza, with a twinscroll turbo. The gearbox is an auto, with the options of manual sequential clutch less changes. Someone on the Internet said the gearbox was a co-development with porche.
I'd love to keep both. The wagon is such a great car to throw around, the power delivery is great and the noise is just perfect.
I'll be updating the thread on the members cars section as I go. The next big step is a visit from Tim Farmer. Hopefully shortly followed by paperwork from the dvla.

Just been giving the wagon a polish to take some pictures for the for sale ad. I've just started using poor boys black hole. While I don't think it'll last as long as my favourite finishkare product, it goes on and off really easily and gives an amazing shine:

Not bad for an old girl.

Great read from start to finish.
Interesting for me, as I'm thinking of moving to a WRX wagon with PPP.... and then an epic plot twist at the end, as I'll be moving from a Gen 4 Legacy
Although mine's just the bog standard 2.0 auto, I think you'll really enjoy the twinscroll. They're great cars, and very practical (aside from being a bit big for some parking spaces)
If I could afford a twinscroll, i'd probably just upgrade to that.

Driving it to the viewing, I was more and more concerned I was making a mistake. The wagon is so much more nimble and responsive than the leggy. And in better condition.
So, now I've got a bit of cash it's time to get the leggy to where it needs to be.
But I suspect one day I'll be back in an impreza, even if it's called wrx sti....
