Default 2005 WRX Wagon With PPP. £5000

Now sold!

For sale due to valid reasons, but I'm still not sure I'm doing the right thing.
Full thread can be found here:

https://www.scoobynet.com/projects-4...o-be-here.html

But here is a summary of the thread:

Work carried out under my ownership:
Engine:
All wrx Standard bar PPP fitted when new (Original certificate in history file)
Rocker cover gaskets have been replaced, as has the radiator, clutch and belts/rollers. Last service less than 1000 miles ago (All by Tim Farmer). Belts/rollers and clutch all replaced in the last 7 months.
K&N filter fitted.
Head tank spacer kit fitted.
Group N Pitch mount fitted. Reduces flex in power train with only a small amount of extra noise in cabin.
Battery is Halfords “Heavy Duty” and 1 year old (aluminium battery clamp fitted).
Most visible rusty bolts replaced with stainless.
CDF racing short shift gear lever fitted (original will come with car).
No leaks or strange noises.
Stainless slam panel fitted.

Brakes:
Front callipers replaced 2 years ago with refurbished 4 pot OEM Subaru.
Discs are mintex all round and have bell housings painted, pads EBC ultimax (pads approx 50% worn) all round.
Braided steel hoses and brake stopper fitted.

Suspension/Handling:
Meister R coil overs fitted 18 months ago with geometry and set up professionally done with Revivals in Thriplow.
Anti roll bar bushes (front and rear) replaced with Superpro poly.
Trailing arms replaced with powder coated reinforced versions (from Matty at MB developmentsÂ’ time attack car) and front bushes replaced with powerflex Poly bushes (rear bushes were fine on inspection).
Steering rack bushes replaced with Whiteline poly.
Front droplinks replaced with Meyle OEM, rears with flowflex solid aluminium (with stainless nuts and bolts).
Front Strut brace fitted.

Tyres are Goodyear Asymmetric 3's with about 8,500 (mainly motorway) miles on them.

Wheels are gold sti, refurbished 6 months ago and are unmarked.

Interior:
Double DIN Kenwood DAB/Bluetooth DPX406 with handsfree kit. Speakers are Kappa infinity.
Hawkeye STI Steering wheel fitted with red stitching, with original WRX airbag.
Matching red-stitching gear and handbrake gaiter.
D1 style black/red solid aluminium gear ****.
Chrome interior door handles.
Air conditioning re-gassed 12 months ago, still ice cold.
PassengerÂ’s side airbag replaced under recall.
No rips/tears or stains.

Exterior:
Zunsport Upper and lower grills.
Hella Horns.
Prodrive skirts from Bug Sti.
De-tangoÂ’d front lights (with Philips X-Treme +130% bulbs).
No rust around arches or around windscreen.

Maintenance.

As you can see, no expense spared over the last two years, including six monthly oil changes, and a huge history file before that (all the way back to the original bill of sale). It's just been serviced by Tim Farmer.
Three owners (I'm the third). Previous two owners had it for 5 years each.
It's done 96,000 miles in 12 years. Mileage wonÂ’t go up too much as itÂ’s just stopped being my daily drive.

Downsides (being honest):

A few minor car park dings, particularity on driver's side. Has some stone chips.
Was involved in a minor scrape with HGV, which resulted on both passenger's door being replaced, consequently that side is very clean and mark free.
Rear under tray dropped and dragged on floor when travelling at speed, so has a hole in it.
Brake calipers & bell housings could do with a re-paint to make them perfect again.

Sub frame solid, but could do with a wire brush and wax oil (as most 12 year old uk daily drivers need).
Lights could do with a polish (see pictures), but aren't that bad.
One of the front CV gaiters has a very slight seep, but not enough to warrant a mentioned on the MOT.
MOT history very clear, with 11 months current cert remaining.
Car available to view evening and weekends in central Cambridge. PM me for Contact details. IÂ’m in no rush to sell, so no silly offers/Mike Brewer wannabies. Test drives will require insurance or IÂ’ll be driving.
Only for sale as IÂ’ve replaced it with another Subaru so I can start all this work over again.
£5000 OVNO.
This has to be one of the best cars I've ever owned, so would really like it to go to a good home.
