this is really doin my head in - i have a vague memory of what i would call a UK hardcore techno tune from mid 1996
all that i can remember is that it had a really fast high pitched techno rapper in it!! something like "i takin it faster i takin it higher..." really fast BPM
did stretch and vern "im alive" - sound like that?
jeez i know its vague but its really annoying. i need this tune!!

"Let it roll like a match on fire, atack your mind just like a bulldozer, see what Ive got in store?, Move over"
Hardcore version is Breeze - Jump A Little Higher, or DJ Stompy - I Believe. There is also a disco house track that samples the same rap hook, Souvlaki - Inferno (Wonderboy Records).
"jump, jump, a little higher / let it roll like a Mack truck tyre / attack the dancfloor like a bulldozer / those who came to stand move over / I'm about ready to rock the show / so put your body in cruise control / get on the floor 'cos it's burning like fire / and when I say it kick ya legs higher"
Also Kumara - Move Over and Climax Inc. - Like A Bulldozer use the hook.

Sorry mate - I will have a proper look and listen at the weekend.

the quest continues..
im laughing my **** off TomM I can picture that happening.. Just put on the decks roll on up and off you go.. sorted.. and just roll another ...and some more tunes (lovely night)
this is a real pig cos the rap is more of a sample -- its like a techno voice and it goes with the beat... thats why it was distinctive. and the voice is like high tone.and it was fast as in too fast to be sung..
its nothing like a UK "hardcore voiceover" (get on the dancefloor ..1 ..2 ..3 whistle posse ...can you feel it ...come on posse ..etc)
the performers i think were DJ .... and DJ ..... im sure it was something like two names. jesus it was played all the time on Metro Newcastle im sure

Ahh, if that's the one(s) your on about then the rap is orignally from Hijack tracks.
"The badman is robbin'" and "The horns of Jericho" to be precise.
I think that DJ Supreme was the DJ for Hijack and a guy later took his name for the DJ Supreme rap-house tracks in the mid 90s.
