Default Uprated battery for classic

Can anyone confirm which uprated batteries fit a classic - I have searched on here, and if I look on EBay for the ones recommended, they appear to be too big?

Does the Bosch type 069 fit?

Thanks,
Paul

Why do you want an uprated battery.

Ok - will reword it - a decent replacement battery. (Car is mainly a weekend toy, and the battery on the car currently is struggling to hold the charge when left standing).

Yuosa silver.
Halfords do them for £100, you can get one delivered off ebay for much less.

And treat yourself to a battery conditioner, C-Tek are great. 5.0 is the one to go for.

I have always gone for bosch or varta but changed to yuasa and this battery in my opinion is better.(Paid about £60 delivered for a yuasa silver ybx5000).

Thanks Both,

Think I have now found the correct one - Yuasa YBX5005 - £64.26 delivered.

(Thanks for the batt conditioner suggestion too Alcazar)

Cheers for your help

Haven't ordered yet - but will be ordering from Ebay I think, as they look cheapest.
