Try Tiley's
I know since the recent announcement that Trainer's were getting rid of the dealership and Ken Thorne was taking over there has been a lot of panic amongst us owner's. Let me just say this, Take your car to Tiley's of Bristol.
They are 2nd to none. Not only can u have a WRX for the day(£10 charge) but their service is outstanding.
I bought my P1 from Swansea Subaru(trainer's). When i had to go back for the 1500mile service i was cringing because of the last few experiences i had there. After 7500 miles the car required a new clutch, so they fitted it no questions asked. Little did i know that within 3 mths it would be knackered again. I decided to go to Tiley's because on past visits i found them to be outstanding. They had the car in for the day to have a closer inspection. On returning to pick up my car this is what i was told needed doing:- Flywheel, clutch cover, clutch disc, release bearing, sleeve+hub, 5th gear, ring synchronizer, lock-nut, lock-washer, transmission oil, turbo gasket, transfer case gasket.
To say i was shocked was an understatement but they booked my car in there and then. They gave me the use of a new WRX aswell to get back to Swansea and to run around in until the car was ready.
When i picked the car i was more than happy with the work done to the car, it feels better than new now. Alright, they didnt clean it inside like Trainer's used too but the mechanis are what counts right ?
If you want to look after your pride and joy then i recommend Tiley's to you. They wont rip you off like C.V.C and god only knows what monkeys Ken Thornes have got working for them. It might be a lil trek over the bridge to bristol but if u want the best then i suggest you try them out...........Tony..

I used to have a reddish blue impreza, 98R model. Unfortunatley 1 evening i was parked in Swansea when this drunk pratt decided to reverse at full speed into this mk5 Escort then bouncing off that into my scooby. He caused roughly £2000 worth of suspension damage and a lil body damage as he it the wheel full on.
When i phoned C.V.C to pick it up and give me a price they wanted £200 just to tow it to Cardiff, whereas Tiley's wanted £50 and the car would be looked at immediately. I havent really dealt with C.V.C but i have heard some nasty stories off fellow owner's.
As for the clutches, well the 1st one slipped one day and i asked Swansea Subaru to look at it and when i picked the car up they had replaced the clutch. When Tileys looked at it they said the work was crap and insisted on doing the work for me

Had my new import serviced today at Tileys and they were very pleasant and did a great job while I had a coffee and wandered around their showroom. I thoroughly recommend them get a good map if you don't know Bristol though!
i had my99 sport serviced there yesterday and i must say how good they are. Good Service and good advice on aftermarket products!
Even took advantage of a wrx for the day..the best £10 ive ever spent
