'If' I mange to get a decent insurance quote, I'll be fitting my01 alloys, I'm pretty sure the tyres I need are 215/40/17 right? I've had Toyo's for a while on the 16's and they seem very good, can anyone offer a sensibly priced alternative, that will both wear well and grip like **** to a blanket.

215 40 17 or officially 205 45 17 - I use the 40's and haven't had any probs. Toyo T1-S and Eagle F1 (GS-D2) seem to be the two in flavour at the mo - me, I've got Eagles and love em
