Please help!

I need some wheel nuts that aren't going to rust after 2 days. Bought a set from Scooby Dealer, had them dipped, but after removing wheels once or twice they've chipped and are rusting again.

Is this is a common problem? If so, where can I get some non-rusting wheel nuts??

What do you mean, had them dipped - in what?

Are they the standard domed chrome nuts?

Dave - They were the only nuts available (according to subaru parts person I dealt with at Lavender Hill Garage Enfield) and weren't already chromed. They were bare metal and I had them chromed elsewhere which unfortunately chips quite easily. (I've got 17" Wheels although I doubt that this makes any difference?).

Dan - Have you got a phone number for Elite and how much did you pay, (presumably you got set of 20?)

Thanks both for your comments

Regards

Chris

Sounds like there is nothing wrong with the nuts themselves, but the electroplater made a cr@p job of plating them.....they need replating properly.
