I cannot believe what people are like. No matter what you do, there is always someone complaining. Local residents calling it irresponsible and saying that they should be banned from giving out free petrol. I bet they don't complain at freebies anywhere else!

It was a great stunt, just a shame that they are not likely to do it up here. I have an empty tank...and really good do with a full one.

 

Of course it's irresponsible. The roads were gridlocked. What if someone needed and ambulance, or the fire brigade?

It simply played to peoples instincts to save money. It was £40 of petrol free per punter. One guy on the TV was complaining because he'd driven " a considerable distance for his free petrol " and when he got there the promotion had been closed down.

Idiots.

 

I think its typical of US consumers...

Alot of us will take ANYTHING if its free.

It shows us humans in a different light we consume til everythings destroyed

I personally dont do this or panick buy anything, including petrol,

Maybe thats why when there is no petrol, i'm f**ked and my car sits there a week or 2 empty

I also dont just take anything just because its free, maybe thats why Im not rich

People without the need for V-Power whinge at the price of it, but when thats all thats left after a panick buy they bleed that dry too leaving none for me,
