Running in new cam???

Default Running in new cam???

Hi guys,
Just had a new cam fitted in me car (Last one snapped, long story https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...one-kuput.html)

Just need to know if it will need to be run in and what is the proceedure or is it fine just out of the box?

Check the new cam for burr's and clean as necc - put some moly lube on the cam lobes and thrust face of the cam.
After you start the engine up,keep the engine revs to 1500-2000 rpm for approx5 to 10 mins to ensure the cam lobes get good oil splash and to prevent scuffing and galling.
