I have the afterburner and it sounds amazing although ive never been quite sure of the angled exit.

Just seen the firestorm off TSL website and I think it beats the afterburner for looks handsdown.......not heard it but id certainly swap mine for one

All other things being equal, the Firestorm is louder (I've compared mine to a another SNer with a Vortex).

I've got the Typhoon back box fitted to mine (virtually the same as the firestorm but titanium tipped) and it sounds superb. The only louder back box I've heard is the Blitz Nur Spec. TSL fitted it there and then and for free .

Cheers Wolfie.

£295 for the Firestorm. If you car is WR Blue and you can stretch to £325 go for the Typhoon it looks the dogs (go to www.xlr8-xlr8.com and have a look). Both these boxes fit the Bugeye.
You'll love it but your neighbours won't .

At the time I was fairly new to the subaru scene and just wanted a loud backbox.....didnt realise it was angled exit until it was already fitted.

No complaints thou great sound but just wanting something different now.

Got an Afterburner Vortex on mine and can recommend it. The Firestorm is that bit more outrageous in my opinion though. If you definately want loud and deep, the best thing you can do is fit a non-resonated centre and perhaps a centre cat replacement pipe. My car is much louder than an identical car with just the backbox.
