I came across this product whilst surfing some Subaru sites; does anybody have any experience (good or bad) of it?
Being stick on plastic sheet I guess you can't polish the areas covered with it so do the covered areas show up?

I've seen it used on 911's (especially chippable fronts), applied properly it is near invisible and can be waxed and polished provided you stick to quality non-chalk based wax e.g. Zymol, Wax wizard etc.

Autoglym it and it'll look awful!

I am a great advocate of this product and always recommend it.

Properly applied its great and stops the chips. U can wax it etyc but use A* or Mer etc then u'll have problems.

Go for it.

I have it on the bonnet of my car and it really has protected it. The only problem are the chips that have appeared above it!!

Seriously though unless you are a really good DIY person get a sign company to apply it. They quoted me £20 to do it and I thought 'how difficult can that be' but it is a bit like applying a long length of sellotape. Getting it straight and without too many bubbles is a nightmare.

Most good sign writing companys do vinyl application every day and have all the tools etc
