waste gate click?

MY97, clicking waste gate solenoid, not all the time.
have read FAQ, but does it need sortin' or do i wait 4 it to pack up?
what do i do in the mean time while it clicks and i loose power???
it has started after a service i had in April, do i take it back?
can someone put my mind to rest,
as it is getting a bit of a pest now!
booked it in at Speeds Nottm 4 friday
may be sorted out, as i only had 60k service in April.
may not cost me!
not under warrenty, that ran out in Feburary!! buggar!
